~~Chapter 34~~

"Didn't think this house would be haunted. Hopefully we didn't touch cursed items."

"I dunno. Maybe you have cooties."

"I'm heading off to the Pizzaplex."

"Sweet dreams, my love."

Vanessa's POV

I throw my bag over my shoulder. "I'm heading off to the Pizzaplex." I speak, putting on my jacket before grabbing the car keys hanging beside the door. "Be good for Freddy, kids."
"We know, Vanessa." Gregory says, a hint of annoyance in his voice. "We're not babies. Don't worry, we won't color on the walls at all."
I chuckle and roll my eyes. "Alright, fine. Stranger danger, try not to call me unless it's an extreme emergency, and I'll try to be back in an hour tops."

I open the door and close it behind me. It's colder due to the fact it's raining again, and I unlock the van before opening the driver's door and sliding into the seat. I slam the door shut and sigh quietly as I lean back into the seat I'm in.
After closing my eyes for a few seconds, I put the key into the car, then my hand on the shift and put the vehicle into drive. (I don't know how to drive, bare with me here-) I back out of the driveway and turn toward the route to the Pizzaplex.

I got there quickly and hopped out of the car, then slipped inside of the Pizzaplex using my security badge. After I heard the door click, I pulled it open and went inside. I found my way to the vent we went in the other day and hopped into it, easily landing. I look around the room, getting a few flashbacks of a familiar kid. I can't remember his name, but he looked a lot like Gregory.

Shaking the thought off, I make my way through the area, zig zagging around chairs and party tables to make it to the office. Once there I log into the computer, scurrying through my thrown around and unorganized thoughts. I recall most of the way to get there. But get where? All I know is it's a virus, and I said that I could, but is there really a way to get rid of a virus that's spread across a whole mall reliant on tech?

My body pauses when my mind comes up with that thought. Well.. Of course there is, right? There's a way to get rid of a lot of viruses on any sort of computer. It being in a mall... Almost full of tech and different systems... Okay, the more I think about it the more it stresses me out and I am not doing that right now. I'm just here to see if this'll work...

I reach into my back pocket and pull out a USB. I plug it into the side of the keyboard and watch the computer load for a second. During that period of time, my mind continues to run. How'd this monitor get down here? And why can't I remember what happened? That kid's name... Who was he? Why'd he... Wait, why'd he what?

I stay in silence for a moment before shaking my head. It's like something's blocking my thoughts. Like when I try to access what happened before I met Y/N and Gregory, my thoughts and brain get fuzzy and staticky until I get a headache. This is weird. All of Fazbear Entertainment is weird. Why did I decide to sign up as a beta tester. I wonder what my life would be like had I not. Then again, I wouldn't have met the two kids, and... I don't know if I want to give them up. Even if it's for a normal life.

I audibly sigh, then blink a couple times and look back up at the computer. I move the mouse and it turns into a blue circle for a second, the computer's fans moving faster as the sound of them running starts up. After a moment, a few files pop up. They have weird names like 'GGYINTRPTC' and 'GLTRPVRS'. I hum and try to open them, but it doesn't seem to do anything. After a few moments of nothing but mouse clicking and failure of opening the files, the computer shuts off.

I stare at the blank screen, then groan. "Great. It crashed."
"Hmm.. Just wait a moment."
My eyes widen at the voice. "Gregory?" But when I turn around, there's a kid in a gray jacket. The hood is up, so I can't see anything but his mouth. His lips form a frown. "I don't know who 'Gregory' is. But he's not me."

My eyebrows furrow. "Then who are you? And how do you know about this area?"
"I didn't." The boy shrugs his shoulders, then kicks a piece of tile that's loose off of the floor, chipping it off the end of the tile witch makes it fly across the floor until it stops. "Just found it. And as for a got here..." He hums, then sighs. "Got a little lost. Say, is there a way out of here?" His mouth forms a small smile. "I wanna see my mom and dad again..."

This is suspicious? He doesn't seem trust worthy. "You didn't answer my first question though. Who are you?"
The kid seems to pause, and he goes silent. He seems to hesitate and think for a moment before responding, "why should I tell you my name? You just met me. How do I know you're trust worthy."
Same goes for you. "You want me to help you, right? I could take you to the cops or something so you can-"

"I know my way home. I just need you to help me get out." The kid says in response, his tone sounding annoyed. "Are you gonna help me or not?"
I go to answer until the computer turns on.
He looks at them, but still at an angle where I can't see his whole face. "Ah! See? I told you you just had t' wait. What're you doing, though? Actually, why are you down here?"

"I'm... Trying to..." I think. "Well, I'm not sure if I could share that info with a little boy."
His mouth forms into a line for a moment before he frowns. "I'm not that little. I'd be almost your height if I'd stand beside you."
I sigh. "Fine then. It's just some work I have to do."
"Ah, really? Then what's that rabbit on the screen?" He smirks and points to the screen emitting a green glow.
"I'm sorry--?" I furrow my eyebrows and look at the screen.

"Ah, my companions. We meet again..."
