Dear M/n
It's already been a year since I would publish that book, it's done well and it still is. Did you heard that they're teaching it in every 7th grade class from know on? It's that big of a hit. Kids like it, I got all types of mail of them sharing their same experiences, saying how much I helped them get their voices back and speak up. Whenever I read it, i get so much into it, I really think you and Dally are actually dead. Speaking of you, I saw your game last night, man, (fav/sport) seems tuff. It's too bad I can't go over there and watch you play myself, I'm sure the boys would love to as well. Me and Cherri are getting married, so I suppose this is an invitation..? That is if you can't come, I'll be sure to send you some pictures and a videotape. Are you interested in someone these days? Are they tuff enough for you? I'm sure they are. When are you coming back? I'm sure every person in Tulsa misses you, you were too kind for your own good. I also want to apologize for putting too much of your real life into the book, I did something else petty too, I gave your mom a signed book. I heard she burned it after reading the page about you and her, crazy woman.

Your dad came by, he gave us some of those delicious meat buns you always talked about. You're right, your dad certainly knows how to cook.

Those boys came by asking for you, I don't think they get the hint of you no longer living in Oklahoma—or even near it! How do i break it to them? Whatever, I'm sure they'll figure it out. Randy asked about you too, actually, a whole lots a people. Like that one old lady you'd help buy stuff...you took care of her. I'm sure she's close to death though. I still remember when you me and Johnny would "run away". We always went to the same spot. We should meet up there again, well, where it used to be, yknow, cause it burnt down. I no longer smoke either, Johnny and Soda are slowing down theirs too. I'm not sure about dally and Steve. And you already Darry would never smoke.

It seems we all got younger..I feel much younger too. I feel like a certain weight has been lifted off my shoulders. The boys said the same thing, I think you've done us all a favor..you're a real savior (M/N).

I'm happy to know you, you're real tough and strong. I think you instantly earn everyone's respect as soon as they see you and get help from you. You're a giver, it's a real great gift, I wish I could be as selfless as you.

Speaking more about (Fav/sport), when are you playing near Tulsa? I think I could figure something's out...with me and the boys. I also see that you have quite the fan base..of course due to your good looks and playing ability. It's natural for someone like you to get that much attention..I'm happy you do. I'll finish college soon, I heard writers don't get paid lots..but I'll make it work, my first book already gots me lots of money..I think it's gonna go great.

Anyways, reach out to be when you can, I love you..

                Love,
                       Ponyboy Micheal Curtis
