Poem Type: Sonnet
In the day of waking eyes,
stood a woman high and proud.
Although filled with pride,
there hides a frown.
Achievements of high and low surround her,
never letting her forget where she started.
In the eyes of many, she's an entrepreneur
But she often feels as if she's faltered.
If her status were any higher,
those below would begin to cast doubt.
Her world would burn in fire,
if she were to crash down.
If she thought she could do anything different then,
she would still be in the eyes of them.
