Nobody's POV

"In a family everyone has an assigned role...."

(Time skip brought to by I'm not typing all that)

"I believe that people who don't fulfill their role have no right to live. What about you do you know what role in life you play?"

Rui waited for a response before continuing.

"Your role is to give your friend to me, then disappear. If you can't do that... you must die! Because you can't win."

Tanjiro clenched his jaw and have rui a death glare.

"I don't like that burning glare in your eyes. How foolish. Could it be..."

a string shot out from his hand

"that you think that you can win?!"

Tanjiro was standing in front of you and Nezuko protectively. Until he looked back to see you nowhere to be seen.

"(Name)! "

There you where in rui's arms. You struggled in his grip at first but he handed you some flowers and you seatled down.

"No! (Name) don't except bribes from stranger- or eh demons?"

Tanjiro internally face palmed at you.

"There I've alrady taken her! Do you understand your role?"

He asked like a teacher asking a kindergartner what 2+2 was.

"Let her go!"

Tanjiro dashed towards you.

"I told you, give her to me and I'll spare your as well as your sister's lives but..."

He was interrupted by you tugging on his kimono. He looked down to see you streaching out your empty hand expectantly.

He sighed ad handed you a couple more flowers.

Tanjiro ran at him prepared to atack thinking he was distracted. But stopped.

He slide back a couple feet. before noticing your not in rui's arms anymore.

A flower pedal gracefully landed on his nose. He looked up to see you eating flowers about 15 meters of the groung.

He let out a sigh of relief since you weren't hurt in any way.

"You have no reason to worry she's safe up there. She's just up there so she won't be a distraction."

Tanjiro checked to see if Nezuko was alright before turning his attention back to rui.

He started control his breathing.

"Total concentration breathing: constant flux!"

A Dragon apeared behind him or at least it apeared so. Tanjiro twisted his body and crouched down.

Fully prepared to atack with his stub of a sword.

And so he did he atacked, spinning like a writhing dragon. With each rotation he becomes faster and stronger.

Till he could finally cut the threads. And for a second he belived that he could win.

"Oh...."

Rui said the tips of his fingers stayning a crimson red.

"Did you think that was the strongest threads i could make?"

The strings that were before a see through white slowly dyed a deep red.

"I've had enough of you. Good bye."

A net of strings came towards Tanjiro. He was going to die.

Until! His sword lit ablaze the dragon from before lighting on fire aswell.

He cut the threads but there were more. and if he would go forward to kill Rui. They would both die.

At least that's what he thought. Until the strings were cut.

Flash back

Tanjiro started his atack. But somehow you knew that he would die if nothing happened.

So you broke free frome the strings that were wrapped around you. You started to fall to the ground.

As you closed your eyes, the only thought that came to mind was.

"Blood demon art: flowering cloud!"

You braced for the impact, But when you landed it wasn't on the hard ground but instead on something springy.

You opened your eyes to see what happened, you saw you were sitting on a huge flower.

It's petals each as long as your arm. They were a light F/C with a yellow/blue senter.

Little flowers sprouted beside it along with some moss. You ran to Tanjiro instad of pondering on though.

You ran towards the strings strings, that were this close too cutting Tanjiro.

And again the words apeared in your head naturally.

"Blood demon art: colorful death"

Your sword stained a beutiful F/C. As it sliced through the air leaving behind a trail of flowers in the air.

Behind you the strings were starting to burn in a pink colour.
And finally.

Both you and Tanjiro cut your targets at the same time.

.Rui is running out of pocket flowers

.Rui didn't string you up half as tight as he would have nezuko

.Nezuko grabed onto the strings and lit them up that way (so no character development lost)
