Urokodaki pov

"Today giyuu has sent his crow to me caring a letter. requesting i take a young boy and his demon sister under my wing."

I put a cloth on my head. and went to go meet these unique siblings giyuu told me about.

Nobody's pov

"H... how can i finish it off"

Tanjiro asked the unknown man.

"Don't trust what others say. Can't you solve this riddle yourself?"

Tanjiro thought for a second. Before he looked over at a decently large rock.

He's now standing in front of the demon. prepared to smash its skull with the rock.

But even wen he knew what he had to do he was still hesitant. Looking down at the demon with pity.

Not long after the demon started regaining consciousness. And started screaming insults at Tanjiro.

"Oh! While i was wasting time, the morning has come!"

The demon let out a sort of scream. besore he was reduced to a pile of ash.

For a moment he looked shocked.
Before he spun around.

"Nezuko! (Name)!"

He called out to them before he saw they were back inside.

Nezuko was Peking hear hed out from the top of her basket. And (Name) was leaning against the side of the basket.

While patting the younger girls head. Tanjiro let out a sigh of relief. before he looked around for the man.

He found him beside the way station. holding a burial for the people the demon had killed.

"Um..."

Tanjiro said not knowing what to say.

"I am urokodaki sakonji. You must be the one giyuu told me about.

Y-yes I'm kamado tanjiro. my sister is nezuko.

Tell me Tanjiro what would you do when you're sister. or that other demon eat a human?"

Taken aback Tanjiro just stood there lips slightly parted.

All of a sudden Urokodaki slapped tanjiro. the sound loud enough to hear from inside startling (Name). As Nezuko got tired and decided to take a nap.

"You think too slowly! You struggle over the simplest decisions. You could never finish a demon before daylight. Why couldn't you answer that question immediately? You are too soft! When your sister or your friend eat someone there are two things you must do. Kill your sister then slit your own belly and die. That is what it means to traveler with people who have become a demons! But it is your sacred duty to prevent that from ever happening. Your sister must never take the life of an innocent person! Do you understand what I'm saying?"

(That took way to long to tipe.)

"Yes!"

Tanjiro answered. faster and more surely this time.

"Very well. i will test you to see what it takes to be a demon slayer swords man. Shoulder your sister and the girl and follow me."

A little while later tanjiro was running down a road. He was trying desperately to catch up with urokodaki.

But urokodaki was undeniably faster than him. Despite the fact he was above 50.

At least a couple hours later they made it to urokodaki's house.

"S-So i pas the test"

Tanjiro asked while huffing and wheezing.

"The test begins now climb the mountain"

Tanjiro's eyes basically popped out of their sockets. It looked like he was on the werge of tears.

Mini time skip

Tanjiro and urokodaki were now climbing the mountain. For his test.

"Now you must descend to the hose at the foot of the mountain. This time i will not wait until sunrise."

And with that he disappeared in the fog.

After a little a small smile adorned tanjiro's features. He confidently started running back down the mountain.

But after only a couple steps. he activated a trip wire and some stones were flung at him.

He staggered back but fell right into a tiger pit. As a was climbing out though his hand activated another trap.

A log swung down smashing against his back.

He was panting looking all around him. Before he stopped and closed his eyes. He started controlling his breathing.

After a couple seconds his eyes shot back open. And he started running again but this time his movements seemed more planned out and precise.

He was avoiding most of the traps. before some bamboo sprung up from the ground. This was going to take a lot longer than he thought.

At urokodaki's

Urokodaki was putting a blanket on a sleeping nezuko while you observed him. extremely bored of Waiting for Tanjiro to return.

You heard some sounds from outside. then the shoji door was slid open. Finally revealing a dirty and extremely rugged up Tanjiro.

"I made it back."

He managed to say before collapsing on the floor

"Tanjiro kamado i accept you as my student!"
