Chapter 10: Reunion

Luna's POV

I was sorting some papers when my best friend from college texted me.

She is the only friend I have had throughout my college life because I was a victim of bullying. Verbal bullying cause I'm a nerd, though I'm not that smart. I wear big glasses and braces and am not rich because I'm just a scholar student.

My best friend's name is Laura.

Laura texted that there would be a reunion with our section in college. We are all a block section, so we are classmates throughout college. It will start at 6 in the evening and bring plus one.

I went to Felix's office to ask permission.

I knocked and entered.

"Um, Felix?" I said.

"What is it, Luna?" Felix said, not looking at me because he was busy typing.

"I am going to a class reunion later at 6. Will you come with me because it says to bring plus one?" I said.

"You can go, but we cannot go together because I need to finish this. But I will go there after I finish my work. Where is the venue?"

I told Felix the address and venue and returned to my table.

When it was already 5:30, I arranged my things.

"I will be going first, guys," I told all the employees.

"Do you have a date with Mr. Hayes, Ms.?" An employee asked.

"Yiiee!" All the employees teased me.

"No. I have to attend a class reunion. Felix has work to finish and will go after. See you tomorrow, guys," I said.

"See you tomorrow, Ms."

"Take care"

I waved to all the employees, went to Felix's office, and said I would go.

"Come here."

I went near Felix and was shocked when he kissed my forehead.

"Take care," Felix said.

I just nodded my head and went out of the office.

I put my hand on my chest because it's beating so fast.

I never knew Felix would be this sweet.

I hailed a cab and went to the venue.

When I arrived, I saw Laura waving at me. I went and sat beside her.

"Hi. It's been a while," Laura said, and we hugged each other.

"You're just in time. They already ordered food for us," Laura said.

"Who are you?" One of my classmates said.

"She is Laura. You don't remember her because she has become beautiful?" Laura asked them.

"The nerd? Wow. I didn't recognize you."

I just smiled at them.

The waiter served the food, and we all ate.

"Oh, I recognize you. Correct me if I'm wrong. You're the girlfriend of Felix Hayes. The CEO of Hayes Group," One of my classmates said.

"Yes," I said.

And they are all talking about my relationship with Felix.

They talked about how I charmed Felix with my body, that I was just after his money, that we would not last long, etc.

Laura holds my hand and assures me that it will be okay.

They stopped talking when someone entered the venue, and it was Felix.

I went to him.

Felix's POV

I went straight to the venue when I finished work.

When I arrived, they talked negatively about Luna and I's relationship. So, I barged in.

They all went silent when they saw me.

Luna went to me, and I wrapped my arm around her shoulder.

"I don't want to ruin the reunion, but I heard you talked negatively about our relationship. Luna and I are happily in a relationship and are living together. I like her not because of her body but because of her personality. She is a wife material. She makes me feel I am not alone because my parents died in a car crash. Now, I will be taking Luna with me. Enjoy your reunion. Let's go?"

I looked at Luna.

"Oh"

And we exited the place.
