The knife was also from the corian village, their specialty was making crazy weapons and it had their signature mark, the one forged on their body.
She focused a little bit of magic on it and the blade sprung out swishing past Pudding's ear. Riya moved back as blood poured out from the knife staining her bed she was oblivious to Pudding's second near-death experience. "Stupid xreo. How could you be so messy."
She pulled out the folded piece of white meat, This type of message was composed with the blood of animals, the more scarce the animal is, the safer the message.  The message is written with a special type of ink made from a mixture containing a small amount of blood. When the blood is poured on it, the message is revealed to the reader, the parts to be read are stained red while the other part remains white.
"Riya?" Pudding asked suddenly forgetting that he almost died a second ago. "Please? Can I have some?" He eyed the blood hungrily.
"Wait a bit I'm using it." She didn't need to ask what he wanted, she knew he had this insatiable desire for blood, maybe it was because she brought him back and his body required blood.
"Riya? Please?" He inched forward licking the little drop that fell on the mattress.
"Wait a bit Pudding!" She snapped at him moving the blood out of his reach. "Get me a bowl." He was back in a flash waiting anxiously for it.
"Here." His eyes moved from bowl to knife as the liquid poured. "Dawn deer, how did they get it?" Riya too was astonished, she had only seen this deer ten times in her entire lifetime, and ten times is little considering her age. How did they get it?
Without the blood, they couldn't read the letter, not even with another deer's blood. The dawn deer was named that because at dawn it became free letting loose its light. They say if it is caught at that very moment, prepared and eaten at dawn it would give you powers. Powers of light.
That's why they are almost extinct, but it's only a myth, that's what Riya ruled when she caught one at night and tried to cook it but ended up with burnt meat even though she cooked it till the morning. In her defense, she wasn't a chef, and how does one cook the meat that was as hard as a rock just in the span of dawn till morning?
"Read it." Pudding said as she soaked it in the blood revealing the letters. The container protecting the meat did well. The blood didn't seep in and ruin the letter, these kinds of letters get ruined minutes after the blood touches it.

"My favourite murderer  oops sorry I meant Qyshol but there's no difference, right? how are you? I hope you still think about me when you kill people. I would be thrilled! Sorry, this is supposed to be a professional letter."

Riya smiled at the letter, Hayden was never serious. She looked at Pudding before continuing.

"I have got the opportunity of a lifetime for you, I thought you might like to know that we have found another wishing bell with a single wick"

"A wishing bell? No way. Those are only found once in a million years." Riya rolled her eyes at Pudding's exaggeration.
"Stop exaggerating Pudding, a wishing bell is born once in 3 thousand years." Riya had only seen it once and before she could steal it the stupid thing decided to abandon its child and run for his life. She didn't have the heart to kill the poor thing. She dropped the meat thinking about it. If anyone heard that they would think the Qyshol had gone mad. "But they are extremely rare to find because only one is born in 3000 years" Pudding said having a smug look on his face.
"Is it true? That it grants you one wish? Any wish?"
"Yes Pudding, please let me continue." Riya sounded like she was irritated but inside her, she was just as excited as Pudding. With joy, she picked up the meat.

"Now let's get straight to business, I didn't tell anyone about your little wish, the one you told me when you drank that famous liquor from the Xreo clan, my Clan.
Since you seemed so pitiful I decided to give you a chance at your wish but also a chance at making myself some money. I would like you to participate in a race.
it's not just any race, it isn't judged based on speed.
A race of seven dimensions, you will travel through the seven dimensions which will be revealed to you if you do agree to this letter. Through all the dimensions you will be tasked to get relics, very important ones which would be used to test you on different aspects.
There will be a total of 11 contestants including you. I would like to write more but I think I covered the most important parts and this piece of meat is getting even more tempting, I feel the need to eat it.
You might be thinking to charge in and take it for yourself but I already hid it in a place you won't ever find before writing this letter. A place only known to me, no one else knows, not even my helpers. Reading my mind won't help either, I took the memory out of my head and placed it with the last treasure you will be finding so either way you have to put up a show.
If you would like to participate in this race then you would have to show your interest, send something into the sky to show your interest. Something to catch my attention. Maybe one of those seductive night clothes. Plus red is my favourite colour so...that would get my attention.
I would like to say more but the space is gone. Have a killing day...literally. I hope you send those underwear.
The xreo clan
The xreo family
Your very best love.
Hayden."

"Pudding, don't you want some?" Riya asked hoping he would fall for the bait. Dipping a finger into the bowl she let the blood run freely down her fingers.
"Yes, Riya but..." He stopped at a loss for words as she threw the knife at him. Catching it he licked it greedily.
"If you want this one." She turned it a little. "Go to the farthest part of this house and get me those flowers."
"Why do you need flowers? He asked Riya, getting the feeling he was being played, Like a dog.
"Just go get it, go!!" He sped out. In that split second he was out Riya sent a bolt of red light to the sky.
"Here's the..., what are you doing Riya?" He hit her hand but the bolt was already gone.
"You can't do this!" He screamed.
"Don't do this! I don't want anything to do with this." Riya stood up and moved to the other room.
"I'm not doing anything dangerous Pudding, it's just a race." She turned back, not satisfied that Pudding followed her.
"A race with 10 other vile creatures he picks. You don't need a wish, we're okay the way we are." You could see the fear in his eyes, Riya wondered how much of that fear was for her. She isn't okay with the way she is, she hated how she lived. "we both know that no matter who he brings to the race they are no match for me." she shifted her weight to the other leg.
"But what if it is a trap? What if they kill us? You might make it but I won't." Fear was all Riya could see in his eyes "Stop being a coward Pudding! we both know the only reason you're discouraging me is so you won't have to go!" She hurled the words at him.
"Yes!! Yes!! I'm a coward but at least I'm not putting other people's life on the line for a stupid wish."
"Is that all? If that's all then I can help you!" She used her magic once more placing her hand on Pudding's chest. "Look at me!" Her voice held so much power as her eyes glowed, it seemed like her hand would phase into his chest but it didn't, it just remained a blur. "This is an order, you are not to participate in the race with me. No matter what happens you are not to risk your life or follow me in that race." She looked at him straight in the eye "like a coward."
"You know that's not what I mean Riya." Pudding had mixed feelings, happy that he wasn't going to partake in this madness and sad because it felt like he was betraying her.
"No! It's exactly what you mean. You're a coward, you're happy I freed you from your following me so don't try to pity me. You wouldn't be able to do anything even if you were there. Wouldn't you want to have your wish granted if you were me?"  she leaned on the couch irritated. She wished he would understand.
"What I'm trying to say is..." Pudding didn't have anything to say. After that sentence his mind went blank but he was thankful for the interruption. Riya stood up walking out of the room to the living room. She didn't need his fake words and talks.
Pudding followed her, trying to prove a point that he wasn't sure of, he felt he needed to prove himself to her.
"This is wrong Riya, you don't need to do this." He worried for her.
"I'm done talking about this. Not one more word Pudding." If it were possible you would see steam coming out of Riya's ears but she blocked that vessel a long time ago.
"That's it! I challenge you" Pudding shouted like a madman, He hated being ignored.
Running forward he tackled her to the ground.
