It was Monday again. "Good morning, aunt Kim." Seonghwa greeted the restaurant owner, his aunt, and swiftly stepped behind the register to open it.
"Morning, Seonghwa!" She had begun making herself a morning coffee, taking a sip while she watched her nephew count the register. "You're going to have to teach me how to do that correctly one of these days. I don't think I can have you coming here every morning."
"None sense, that won't be for a while, aunt Kim. Don't worry, I like spending time here." Seonghwa offered her a warm smile. "Would you like a cup?" Shaking his head no he ducked down to reach for the cleaning supplies.
The restaurants door opened and closed, the little bell alerting them that there was a customer. "Take this first customer for me before you leave, will you?" Before he could even say okay the bell at the register was being rung frantically.
"Please give me a moment." Opting to close his lids to roll his eyes discreetly at the customers impatience he spoke softly, "I'm sorry, what can I ge—" as soon as he opened his eyes, he felt a familiar pair of lips on his.
"Morning, babe." Seonghwa couldn't help the smile that painted his face. "Yunho, baby, I told you about coming in here like that." He chuckled softly, reaching for a small towel to accompany the cleaning supplies he gathered earlier.
"By now you should already know it's me! Should I make it more habitual until you begin to wait for me every morning?" Seonghwa stepped out from behind the register and shoved Yunho playfully from his way. "Absolutely not."
"Fine. You ready for class? I'm gonna stop across the street for a snack. You want anything?" Yunho followed Seonghwa around as he wiped down the tables, resting his chin on his shoulder any chance he got.
"A cold bottled water would be nice." Yunho snuck his arms around Seonghwa's waist and spun him around making him lean slightly against the wooden table. "Manners?" He pressed his lips onto Seonghwa's, the latter immediately melting in Yunho's soft grip.
"Please and Thank you.." Seonghwa pecked Yunho's lips once more before turning around to continue cleaning. "I'll join you in a second. I'll just finish the last few tables."
Yunho nodding in understanding he exited the restaurant to walk across the street. Upon hearing a loud crash Seonghwa looked up, his heart dropping for a second.
Yunho had tripped on the sidewalk and was using the convenience stores door handle to balance himself. Letting out a hearty laugh Seonghwa shook his head in disbelief at his clumsy boyfriend.
"What a handful.."
