Chapter 6

~3 YEARS LATER~

A beautiful girl sat in a garden full of Claire Roses, the now 16 year old girl's white moonlight-like hair fluttered in the warm atmosphere of the spring. It was 3 years later from when Angelica first met Cassandra, Angelica was now 16 and Cassandra was 17. They sent letters often, though Cassandra would only send short ones,probably to cover up how much she loved Angelica. When a letter would be sent, Angelica would carefully place it at her secret shrine for Cassandra. Angelica finally mastered her divine power, all by herself and decided to keep it a secret from everyone else as to not catch the attention of the male leads. As for Cassandra, she kept her beauty and was surprisingly taking sword lessons, much to Angelica's surprise. Cassandra would call Angelica things like "love" and "babe" and "princess," even though they weren't dating, through the letters. She found out that she was deeply in love with Angelica... almost in a possessive way. But, Angelica didn't know that and thought she just had a one-sided love.

Angelica wandered through her garden behind her palace, secretly healing dead flowers along the way. "My lady!! Careful, you might get hurt!!" Mary, Angelica's maid said as she chased after Angelica, "I-if you do the Duke might.." Mary shivered in fear "Kill us or worse..." she mumbled before snapping out of her trance. "A-anyways, please be careful my lady!" "I will! Don't worry Mary!" Angelica said as she turned around, a sweet smile plastered on her pale skin. Angelica suddenly noticed something up in the sky. It was a cute white messenger bird, the one that Cassandra would use to send her short yet sweet letters to Angelica. Angelica smiled softly as the bird landed on Angelica's hands and dropped the letter. "Oh! I almost forgot!" Angelica said, using one of her hands to grab some bread out of her picnic basket. "Here you go little birdie!" Angelica said softly, giving the bread to the cute bird. The bird grabbed the bread and flew off. Angelica opened the letter gently, as to not bend it so she could put it in her shrine.

I'm coming to see you in 3 days, love. That is all I wanted to say. Love you. Bye.

"Awh~ thats cute....I have to hurry up and get ready for Cassy's arrival and put this in the Shrine!" Angelica thought as the realization of how important this moment was to her. "MARY!! CASSY'S COMING!!" Angelica yelled. "Cassy? Oh! You must mean Her royal highness, Cassandra." Mary said politely "Of course my lady!" Cassandra smiled brightly as Mary left to go inform the others. Suddenly Angelica felt something land near her foot. It was a beautiful pink-to-white bird. Unknowingly, Angelica picked the hurt bird up. "Poor thing..don't worry! I'll help you!" Angelica said adamantly. Angelica used her divine power on the bird, making the bird wake up almost immediately. Angelica seemed to an overwhelming amount of not only divine power, but also magic power. "Now, bye then little birdy!" Angelica said as the bird flew away, she then made her way into the palace. "Interesting..." Said a young man, he looked around the same age as Angelica but maybe a year younger. He seemed to, like Angelica, had a huge amount of magic power, but not as much divine power. The handsome man had red glistening eyes and long, sunlight blond hair.
