Not much conversation happened between the two friends the next day. At lunch, they tried to talk to each other but that only made them angrier. When the bell rang, they walked by themselves to the next class. As Charlotte was walking home, Jackson appeared behind her. She was a bit startled but didn't mind. As they made their way home, Jackson suggested they skip school the next day. Charlotte started to realize this guy was bad and didn't want any part of that. She tried to walk a little faster but he would always speed up. She started to get really scared. She finally saw her house, said goodbye, and ran! She called Leo but he didn't answer. She was completely alone. The next day at school, she didn't see Jackson. She went right up to Leo and apologized and told him about Jackson. She felt a whole lot safer now that she told him. Leo asked what she was going to do but she had no idea. "Probably try to ignore him" said Charlotte. Right as she said that, Jackson showed up. She and Leo ran!
