A\N: so like I would recommend reading through Barca B's first because then this book will be wayyy more interesting. This story is more focused on Blake and Aitana while the other one was more about Alexia, Ona, and Blair. I can't wait to reveal some things✨
Blake's POV
"Damn, we really did this?" Blair looked around as we walked into the stadium.
I really talked her into is what I thought in my head. Damn I'm such a good negotiator. I was so excited to play overseas. We walked up to the coach as he mentioned speaking to us today and having one of the players show us around. Please be Bonmati or Batlle. Fuck Batlle is new too. PLEASE be Aitana Bonmati. I wished to myself as he called a player over by her nickname.
Yes! It's Bonmati.
"Aitana. This is Blake and Blair Laid. You have played them before in a few national team games. I figured you wouldn't mind showing them around the facility as everyone else starts training." The slightly younger midfielder stood in shock as the coach asked her to show us around. She finally gave us a small nod and gestured for us to follow her.
"Its nice to meet you on a more friendly term. I'm Blake and that's Blair by the way, but I know it'll take awhile to figure out the differences." I stuck my hand out and she lightly shook it.
Her hand was so small compared to mine but the defined biceps on the girl was so impressive. Her overall physic was impressive.
"Yeah it'll definitely take a second-umm have you ever been to the facility before?" I shook my head silently as I began looking around. I can't believe we signed onto a team without even visiting first.
"I know this is shocking-our arrival to the team, but I really hope that we can play well together and all have a great season. Any insight to get off on a good foot with the team?" I continued to talk to her as Blair walked around silent. Blair was always the quieter out of us.
"We could all hangout tonight maybe? I think it would be a great first team bonding experience. I know coach wasn't planning on you practicing today so I suppose unpack and welcome to Barcelona. I'm excited to play with the two of you." I gave her a small hug as Blair just had a small smirk on her face from the last sentence. God Blair stop being a bitch.
I knew she couldn't control it but I wish she would be a little more open and nice going into this new team. I wanted everyone to like us. I always wanted everyone to like us or atleast me, but being an identical twin it was always an us.
Rarely anyone saw the two of us as individuals. Maybe on this team it would be different. I don't have a reputation yet here. I could become a better person and start on a clean slate. Maybe the small little midfielder that showed us around could be the one who could help me change.
"You're really excited to be here, huh?" Blair looked over at me with a small smile.
"A new start Blair what's not to be excited about? Maybe you know try to enjoy life here."
"I thought we came here to be a better player."
"No. Blair you came her to be a better soccer player. I came to experience life and new love for the game and I came here for...can't you just be happy."
Blair stared at me blankly for a moment before she cracked a smile. She was happy to be here even if she didn't want to admit it.
"I am pretty excited to learn from Alexia."
"Mmhmm there it is!" I smiled as I pulled her into a hug.
"You can promise me one thing though right?"
"And what is that?" I looked over at her curiously.
"You're not going to forget about me here? We'll still be Blair and Blake even if we will just be Blair or Blake sometimes. I just need to make sure you're not going to enjoy life too much here that I lose my bestfriend."
"As if you could ever lose me." I pulled her down onto the couch as she rested her head on me. Her shallow breathing was loud against my neck as we relaxed on the couch.
"I can't believe we bought a house."
"We bought a mansion." Blair giggled as she turned to cuddle into me further.
"Are we crazy?"
"For moving to Spain?" She questioned.
"Yes for moving to Spain. Like are we crazy for ditching everything and moving across the world. Like Blair we live in a different continent." I laughed as we both shook our heads. We are crazy.
"Are you excited for tonight?" She gave me a small smile.
"Ona and Aitana are cute."
"Hmm I agree on one of those, but I'm not telling you." She scrunched her nose and stuck her tongue out at me.
"I'll figure it out." I looked at her for a second thinking. Fuck what if we end up going after the same girl again. We do not need a Lucy 2.0. Maybe if I wait it out I'll just choose the girl she doesn't like.
