I walked out to the street and stood there waiting for the cab to come and pick me up. I had a lot on my mind therefore I didn't MT myself to the courtyard at the main tower. Was it that hard to realize that I needed him? I made sure that the poem I gave him was very understandable. Maybe with German kicking me out the other night had a negative effect planted inside of him. I should have left when Dylan did this to me. I should have left.
The cab pulls up in front of me. "Good morning...Miss Lavidia." He seemed uneasy again. I'm really starting to think that he's just like that and not on purpose. I hop in the back and kinda slammed the door. "Shit." I lay my head back. "May I be of some assistance?" I jerked my head back up. Who was that? I look around in the cab, but the only other person in the cab was the shaky driver. "Excuse me, who was that?" The driver looked in the rear view mirror that was located on the radio. "It was me ma'am." The driver. I'm hallucinating, literally. "Okay, I'm dreaming. You can stop fucking with my mind now." The driver flipped the self-control button and the car was driving by itself. He swiveled his seat around to face me. "My name is Robert Grandolff. I'm a secret agent at the Secret Sound facility and that is all I can tell you. And no one is fucking with your mind, you're just in shock. Please hold your questions 'til I'm done. I've been following you around...oh, sorry let me pull this mask off." It's a mask, a god damn mask. And underneath, beauty. He's detailed. Eyes like the universe, skin like a hazelnut, and a body ready to be devoured. "As I was saying, I've been following you around. You've not seen me, but I have. I have been watching you ever since you were drafted into the clock facility. Um, you may ask questions now." Right, so I unhinge from the seat and relax some. His voice is deep and mellow. That's one more reason to relax. "Okay, so you're not fucking my mind. Therefore who sent you here?" Uh, oh. There goes his, natural uneasy look. "You might...be uncomfortable, maybe be in complete shock if I told you sent me." Oh God, it's German. "Your mother." Oh good it was just my mom. Phew! Wait, what!!! "MY MOM!!!!"
"Yes. Now hold on, hold on. She sent me the week after you left home. I've literally been by your side the whole time. I've been in that meeting when you were assigned a new partner, but I don't know where you disappeared off to."
"I rather not talk about it."
"And that's okay. I was the man you ran into the other day, you know the papers, and the 'time is on our hands' thing. I was there."
"The time where you asked to be moved to a lower level in the tower, I talked the Ambassadors into letting you keep the apartment because I had cameras installed in there. Sorry that sounded weird. Um, I... installed cameras in the apartment. In case your wondering, um, one in the kitchen, one in the living room, and one in your bedroom closet. And don't worry, the one in the closet has no audio, however the rest do."
I took a deep, deep, deep breath and shook out almost all frustration. Almost. "So wait, if you've been with me this whole time, then where have you been sleeping?"
"Outside your door. But I always leave at 3:00. Oh, looks like we're here. We'll talk more on Sunday."
I get out of the cab and wave goodbye.

As soon as I walk up to the building, I immediately put on my badge. Never again will I ever go inside there, inside the elevator and forget my badge. I'll tell you this, what happened on the elevator the other day with the whole badge fiasco, that's on a whole other level of scary shit. If your badge is not on your BODY, physically, your going to die, PHYSICALLY. I trudged in with morning pride. I shuffled over to the elevator and commanded to take me to the 45th floor. I hopped onto the elevator. I began thinking. How will I speak to this girl? Is she mean, is she nice, or is she moderate? I hope she's moderate. God forbid if she's mean. And I seriously would kill myself if she was nice. I hate, hate, triple hate perky people. "Hi, I'm Lavidia Zimmerman and I am going to be your personal little trainer... No. She'll think I'm the perky one and then she'll take advantage of me and then she'll take the test and fail and then we will be killed. How about, sit your moderate ass down now, 'cause your going to listen to me today". What do you think? God, what do I think? BING! The elevator opens the doors. Oh shit. The Ambassadors are walking towards me. Why are they walking towards me? "Lavidia Zimmerman, how are you this morning?" Odd. Very, very odd. "Very good, Ambassador Touraghn. And might I ask how are you?" I can't even look at him, because whenever I do, I see Dylan, and whenever I see Dylan, I'm pissed and want to kill somebody, really I want kill Dylan. "Cut your nice greetings and let's just tell her", said Ambassador Smith. You know some day I am going punch the hell out of Ambassador Smith, maybe the day before I turn 230, but I will have my day. "Lavidia, your partner is awaiting in the observation room. Go and observe her and take notes, but you only have 30 minutes. After so, you are to go to work." Ambassador Jordyn raised her arm for me to self-escort myself to the glass window. In front of the glass sat a desk and a floating chair. One of the the towers newest updates. I sat in the chair. The magnetic levitation made me bounce a couple of times, but I managed the chair to match my stability. "Glass Activator, activate two-way mirror." It rippled to show me the girl fighting the punching bag. Once she hit it, it shocked her. It signaled for her to move on to the jump ropes on the other side of the room. She lightly jogged to it and to my surprise, began jumping with amazing speed. I looked back at the Ambassadors and saw them conversing. I didn't think twice about still staring at them. I wasn't going to try to earn a death stare from either one of them. I picked up the stylus and begin writing on the desk.

Lavidia Zimmerman

Today I observe Kina Haranu in the observation room. So far her speed skills are moderate -- excell. We can improve her force skills as she has barely moved the punching bag provided.

I look at her and see that the rope turned stiff and clunked against her knees. She dropped the rope and shuffled over to the weights, in which she only picked up the 20 lb. ones. Weak. I've been trained to pick up the 150 lb. ones. On barbells.

She is weak and has chosen the weights marked 20 lbs. I will train her to take on and hold at least the 100 lb. weights.

As soon as I look up, Kina stands still in the middle of the floor... staring straight at me it seems. I move my head to the far left and her eyes follow. Then I move to the far right and her eyes follow then. I grit my teeth. I hop out of the chair and stomp madly over to the Ambassadors. "I don't mean to be rude, but you want me to train--"
"An android. Yes," said Ambassador Touraghn
"No, no, no. An android wouldn't be able to follow my movements through a two-way mirror. I prefer to call her...it, artificial intelligence."
"Well I wouldn't say A.I. How about a robot with a human brain, limbs, and other accessories."
"Oh, so it's not an android nor A.I, but a fucking cyborg?"
"Hey, watch your language when you're around us. We kill those who think that we are accepting with what they say around us", said Smith.
"Cyborg? Such a perfect name, except I haven't heard that term since 20 of my great-grandparents died centuries ago. Let's call her Kee·Na Hur·Ron·Nu. Okay?"
"Commander Lavidia Zimmerman, copy." I turned back around and wrote on the desk in all caps, saying: KINA HARANU IS INDEED NOT A HUMAN. SHE HAS HUMAN QUALITIES, BUT IS NOT HUMAN.
I threw the pen at the glass, but when I looked up, she was standing right in front of me. Staring curiously at me.
I stomp down the stairway without even looking back at the Ambassadors.

I hustled down the docking warehouse. To my surprise, there are a lot of people. Then I see a group of three people jogging past me. I stop one of them and hold them to the side. "Commander Buford, what's going on? The courtyard is that way."
"General Rodríguez is moving some of us out and onto the upper leveled courtyard. Sorry, but I have to go." He jogged down to meet up with the rest of his group.
As I walk down some more, I see more and more troopers coming. Shit! He better not have. I finally make it to the base of German's standing post. I climbed up as fast as I could.
"Troopers 346, 52, and 421, move out!"
"German, what are you doing? Please tell me your not sending the amateurs out onto the upper courtyard? They are not ready to take on the extremity of the advanced travelling. Plus, where's Davion? Isn't he supposed to be here?"
"Look-uh troopers... 221, 490, and 564, go! Look, I'm moving them there because I want to, because they need to. Last time I checked, I was still General and that you were under my control. So get down in that courtyard and listen for instructions."
That ping of hate coming from him hit me like a punch to the stomach. I dropped down from the ladder and landed with one knee to the ground I rushed to be in the way back in the crowd of people.

By the time German was satisfied with what people he had left, he had set up his control unit. "Alright, remaining troopers and commanders prepare for launch."
I picked the given bookbag and threw it onto my shoulders.
"Trooper Dunz, you are going to 1873 England to deliver a rose to newborn Henry Johnson." She picked up the syringe and put in 1873, then stuck it in her neck. Then she disappeared into nothingness. "Commander Lavidia, looks like your going to 3075 New York to deliver a rose to... ...oh my God."
I shifted a little. Some people were staring at me as if I did something wrong. "I'm sorry, I didn't catch what you were saying General Rodriguez, where do I have to go?"
"Alvin."
Oh my fucking God.
