Title: "When they call, you aren't supposed to answer."
LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
The camera pans through an old, dimly lit living room. Boxes are scattered around, and the walls are adorned with faded wallpaper. The protagonist, SASH, a 12-year-old girl with innocent eyes, is playing with her dolls on the floor. Her parents, JOHN and EMILY, are unpacking nearby.
EMILY (to Sash)
How are you doing, sweetie? Excited about our new home?
SASH (smiles)
Yeah, Mom, it's kinda spooky but fun!
SASH'S BEDROOM - NIGHT
Sash lies in her bed, hugging her favorite teddy bear. Moonlight filters through the curtains. The room feels eerie, and her doll collection seems to stare at her.
KITCHEN - MORNING
The family gathers around the breakfast table. Sash's older brother, JAMES, 13, looks concerned as he watches Sash . She eats her cereal silently, avoiding eye contact.
SASH 'S BEDROOM - NIGHT
Sash sits cross-legged on her bed, a Ouija board in front of her. She moves the planchette alone.
SASH (whispering)
What do you want?
The planchette moves to spell: "D-A-D."
JOHN AND EMILY'S BEDROOM - NIGHT
John is awakened by a soft voice, calling his name.
SASH (V.O.) (whispering)
John... John...
He gets up, believing it's Sash.
SASH'S BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS
John enters Sash's room, but she's asleep, clutching her teddy bear.
JOHN (confused)
Sash, did you call me?
SASH (sleepily)
It's not me who called. When they call you, you aren't supposed to answer.
KITCHEN - MORNING
James approaches Sash at the breakfast table, his unease growing.
JAMES (whispering)
Sash, why are you acting so weird lately?
SASH (smirking)
I'm not acting, James. Just wait and see.
LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
Each night, Sash continues to play with her Ouija board and receive strange messages. Unbeknownst to the family, a sinister presence is taking hold of her.
BATHROOM - MORNING
Emily stands in front of the mirror, brushing her hair. Sash appears behind her, holding a pair of scissors.
SASH (smiling)
Mommy, I want to play a game.
KITCHEN - MORNING
Emily is absent from the breakfast table, and the atmosphere is tense. John notices scratches on James' arm.
JOHN (concerned)
James, what happened to your arm?
JAMES (nervous)
I don't know, Dad. Sash's been acting strange, and she's always around when weird things happen.
SASH 'S BEDROOM - NIGHT
John and James decide to question Sash. They burst into her room, but she's peacefully asleep.
SASH (innocent)
What's wrong, Daddy?
JOHN (concerned)
We thought we heard something, sweetheart.
SASH (smiling)
It's not me who calls, Daddy.
LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
Over the days, John, Emily, and James experience increasingly disturbing events, all tied to Sash's strange behavior.
BASEMENT - NIGHT
In the dimly lit basement, they discover a hidden shrine filled with creepy dolls, candles, and symbols. The dolls seem to move on their own.
EMILY (terrified)
What has she done?
SASH 'S BEDROOM - NIGHT
The family confronts Sash, realizing she's possessed.
JOHN (desperate)
Who are you?
SASH (grinning, voice distorted)
I am the darkness that dwells within.
Suddenly, Sash's body contorts unnaturally, and she levitates off the bed. Her eyes turn pitch-black.
LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
The possessed Sash unleashes a terrifying wave of dark energy, enveloping her family.
SASH'S BEDROOM - MORNING
The morning sun shines on the empty house. Sash's innocent voice echoes.
POLICE STATION - NIGHT
The police investigate the gruesome crime scene, puzzled by the seemingly innocent 12-year-old girl.
NARRATOR (V.O.) (evil tone)
Innocence lost, darkness found, a home once full of love, now haunted by a sinister presence.
SASH (V.O.) (whispering)
When they call, you aren't supposed to answer.
FADE OUT.
