There was a blinding light. It was so bright, but she could not escape it. She closed her eyes, but the light was still blinding her. She yelled and covered her eyes, but there was nothing but light. Not even a sound.
The silence... it was like none other. She tried to shout, but nothing came out. The silence was loud in a way, so loud that it caused her to cover her face and rub her ears roughly, but to no prevail. It became unbearable. But then-there was a speck, so small it would usually go unnoticed. But it was all there was. She began to chase it. It got bigger and bigger, until it was so big it almost engulfed her, but she kept running. It was then there was a sound, it was beautiful. She ran as fast as she could, but she didn't get tired.
Finally she was totally surrounded by the black speck. The noise was loud now, so loud that she frantically covered her ears, but it was the same. In the distance she could see, something. It looked like relief. But what does relief look like?
She chased it, but noticed her legs were getting tired. Finally she reached the relief. When she reached out to touch it, it glowed a bright color. A color that didn't seem real. But then again-nothing felt real. She gently reached out her hand and touched it with one finger. Immediately a sharp pain went through her arm, and through her body. She let out a scream of pain-wait... a scream? She could hear herself? She held on to the glowing color, even though it hurt excruciatingly. She held onto it and cried-wait... she could cry? Suddenly she became aware of something-something that had texture-feeling-warmth. It was touching her arm.
Suddenly the world collapsed from underneath her, and she grabbed for the relief. But it was gone. All of a sudden she became aware of a throbbing coming from her head-her chest-her legs. It was everywhere. She was falling. She saw the floor below and braced for impact. WHAM
She let out a scream and jerked up. Sweat was dripping from her forehead and her heart was pounding. Her head swung from left to right, taking in the situation. A hand grabbed her shoulder and pulled her back into her bed-wait... her bed? She was in her bed. She was home. There were people. People swarming around, but she couldn't hear them well. The sounds grew louder and she realized there were people talking to her. She saw her adoptive mother leaning over her bed, concern etched over her face.
After looking around more, she noticed there were more people that she had thought. There was all her family, and also others, such as Doctor Brown, and Mrs. Rancher.
