From where did Samson, find his strength and might
From how did such speed, come to Elijah the Tishbite
From where did the prophet Daniel, receive such foresight
From none other than the One, who gives the world light
He is the One, who is the royal King of kings
He is the One, to whom all the seraphims sings
He is the Lord of all the Earth, to whom all honour, praise and glory is due
He is the Lord of hosts, who in His own time, will make all things new
Who is the One, that has compassion on the work of His hand
Who was the One, who died for mere rebellious man
Who was the One, that became the unblemished sacrificed Lamb
It is none other than Jesus Christ, who declared Himself as the "I AM"
"Saving grace", what music for such a desperate ear!
The feeling of being forgiven, has never been so clear
God, and the sins of the world were nailed to that tree
I am no longer a slave of sin, I am now forever free
Free from sin in God's eyes, I have not one blemish or stain
I am bought with a high price, now to live is Christ and to die is gain
In the same resurrection power, that raised Jesus from the dead
Shall I live in the power of the Holy Spirit, with Christ being my head
How beautiful and marvellous, is the mention of Calvary's Cross
Because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ, I count everything else as loss
Looking at what Christ paid to redeem mankind, how high was that cost!
Therefore there is no excuse I have, to not reach the dying lost
In His presence daily, may I see His beauty and supremacy
May I yearn for His grace, love and presence with such jealousy
I am sick with love, for Your love is better than wine
Shall my soul cry out, "I am my Beloved, and my Beloved is mine"
He is unstained from sin, the hosts cry out "holy, holy, holy"
O' mankind, flee from His wrath and repent, with your head bowed lowly
Believe in the Gospel, He died in your place, believe in Jesus Christ solely
Blessed is the one who draws near to the throne of grace humbly, yet boldly
By the renewal of the Holy Spirit, and the washing of regeneration
Has the God the Father brought before me, glorious justification
May He conform me to the unfathomable image of Christ, in sanctification
Till that day when I see my Lord's face, in undeserving glorification
May my life reflect His holiness, all sin shall I shun
Striving in the holy race, it is a duty that I must run
My ears long to hear: "good and faithful servant, well done"
All glory be to His Majesty, Jesus Christ, God's Son
Though I enter in Christ, may my soul never forget sin's wages
Shall my hatred for complacency, lead me to the Bible's pages
May I be ready in and out of season, so that when the sea rages
My house shall be founded upon, the immovable Rock of Ages
Let the locust pit open, let the dragon and beast attack
Though hard-pressed, I know in the armour of God, I shall not lack
I must always be prayerful and in the Word of God, for that will be the key
Even if I'm burdened beyond my strength, Thy grace is sufficient for me
Come brethren! Let us prepare for the King's return - near is the hour
For Satan and his children, to be crushed under God's power
Be strong and courageous for the Lord, your God is the strong tower
Let us remember those who enter the kingdom of God, all will not cower
He is coming! He is coming soon! Christ shall descend from the cloud
Soon every tongue will confess, and every knee shall be bowed
On a white horse with a host of angels, to strike the nations with a sword
To slay all those who oppose Him, after all He is the King of kings and Lord of lords
Reader, are you ready to meet the One, who will judge the world in fire?
Have you repented of your sins, or are you still a godless wicked liar?
Are you willing to live for Him, and call Jesus your King, Lord and sire?
Or will you still live selfishly for yourself, with consequences so dire?
