Khushi's POV

Well, to be honest, it is not that I haven't heard about the theory of time travel ever before. Both my parent's are physicist's, remember? Back in our household, these theories about possibility of time travel, existence of parallel universes etc often become a topic of discussion over meal times, given that these concepts have always fascinated my parents as well. Theoritically, they believe in the possibility of it all. Infact, it's my brother Vikram who loves to go into the discussion on these topics with our parents in great detail – every time he comes back home from watching a Marvel/DC movie that fictionally depicts the concept of parallel universes/ or movies/showcasing time travel/suspending time etc..

But...that's the point....

Uptil now, I have always heard about these concepts theoretically or fictionally. Never in my life I could have ever imagined - a living person sitting in front of me and stating that he has time travelled to our time from the past. Of course, his words threw me off guard and me stare at him in constant disbelief...every part of my mind doubting his very sanity. Infact, I am doubting his sanity – still – as he continues to sip the second cup of tea – the server just served us.

Surely, its easy to assume why I sat back in my place to hear more from him instead of leaving right away. Its because of my fascination with everything history obviously. He'd mentioned, he'd show me enough evidence and proof from the past to support what he was saying....right??

A part of my mind edges me to ask him to just get on with showing me all these proofs, instead of sipping the tea. The compassionate part of me reminds me – to let him have the break in his words, given that he'd also just succumbed to a semi-meltdown post reading that article highlighting all the details about the Partition of India...
