Thoughts no. 1798
Pain makes us human.
Pain makes us realize that there are good things in this world.
Pain makes us distinguish anything between what is good and what is bad
Unfortunately, sometimes we choose bad things over the good ones. Even though we indeed knew what was better for ourselves.
Pain is one of the consequences of wrong decisions, choices, moves we make or the things we call mistakes.
Mistakes makes us human too. Because being human means we're imperfect.
Sadly, some people sees imperfection only skin deep,
not in decision making
nor a person's reasoning. These types of people do not really pay attention to the personality but only pays attention on what's on the surface.
But do we acknowledge these things? These mistakes the moment we make them?
No, right? Not unless we feel the consequences of these actions.
Consequences that might include physical pain,
conscience that won't let you sleep,
and for me, the worst? Emotional pain. The biggest question is,
What if you don't feel pain?
Will you be able to recognize your mistakes?
Will you be bugged by your conscience if you don't know your own mistakes? Will you still feel human?
Won't you feel un-human if you don't even feel or see these things?

"YOU! COME DOWN AT ONCE." The woman said in gritted teeth before she slammed the bedroom door behind her.
"Ma, you'll wake Peachy up! Don't slam the doors!" The young one answered.
"I DON'T CARE! IT'S TIME FOR HER TO WAKE UP ALREADY, NOW GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE." The woman shouted this time, from downstairs.
She sighed, hearing the shouts from downstairs. She closed her journal after attaching a tape on that specific page. She breathed deep before she grabbed her bag and went down the stairs.
Downstairs
"You went on last night without my permission!?" The 40 - year old woman inquired as she turned the telly on and as the young one closes the distance between them.
"...Isa na namang kaso ng pagpatay laban sa pinaghihinalaang may-ari ng isang kilalang sindikato ang naganap sa mismong bakuran ng biktima. Katulad ng mga naunang kaso ay may tatlong itim --"
"C'mon Ma, I'm fine. And I'm already cleared out, so I'm good." The young one tried to console the woman from almost setting her head on fire with annoyance.
"I know that, sweetie. But you could have at least let me know you were still going, right? Hindi yung parang tanga ako dito na may mga ginagawa ka na palang hindi ko alam." The woman slowly leaned on the backrest of the sofa, massaging her temple as she breathes the tension out of her body.
The woman sighs as she continued, "I don't need the details. You know we can talk about it discreetly but don't leave me out of the loop, hon. I'm not here for nothing. Please pro--" She was interrupted as the young one's other phone rings and its screen turns into total blackness.
"Update, Miah and the new blood is now 10 minutes away from the location." The young one nodded as if the person on the phone can see.
"Anything else?" The person from the other line asks as he was not able to catch a response from the receiver.
"Dismissed." The young one ended the call.
"Look Ma, I'm sorry, and I'll try to let you know everything. Okay? I have to go." She kisses the lady on the cheek and grabbed her helmet.
"You have your classes today, right?" The older one asks as she grabbed the young one's arm before it completely runs out of her sight.
"I'll be back in time for it. I promise." The young one smiled dearly at the woman before dashing out the front door.
