third person POV

Tragedy's discovery that blood made her taste things would change everything. Holding back her suspicions was killing her, but she would do it because she felt she had to. With all that her and "Ben" were only getting closer.

Tragedy's POV

Later that day Ben came in for work I didn't mention the candy or anything. I pretended everything was normal.  We had a normal working day, and after he clocked out he was about to walk out the door when he turned around.

"If you want I'll spend the night again." He said looking me in the eyes.

For some reason I felt my limbs go weak.

"I would love that, but it's a school night."  I said feeling my strength come back.

"So I have my backpack, and I always keep extra clothes in my car."  He said nonchalantly like spending the night at a girls house was the most normal thing.

"Wouldn't people get suspicious if we got on the bus together?"  I questioned.

"I'd drive us to school."  He laughed.

"But wouldn't that make it a longer trip for you?"  I asked slightly confused.

"Actually no.  It makes it shorter.  I live on a farm it's out of town.  You live five minutes away from town, and I live ten so it cuts it in half really."  I mouthed oh then laughed lightly.

"Then I'd absolutely love for you to spend the night again."  Ben laughed at me a bit.

We sat around playing video games and talking for hours.  When it came time for food I had an idea, if the blood in the candy made me taste then maybe drops of blood would make me taste other things.  I made Mac&cheese, and when I was done I put it in two bowls.  I picked a scab, and let a couple drops of blood fall into my bowl.  I quickly mixed it around.  Then I told Ben the food was done.

He came into the kitchen and sat down.  I put the bowl without the blood in front of him.  I sat down, and we started to eat. I could taste the metallic rust mixed with cheesy creams and noodles. It was amazing I could taste it.

After we ate I showered, got ready for bed, and went back to the kitchen.  Ben helped me clean up, and then we went to bed.  Again we slept in the same bed, but this time at a normal distance not as far away as possible.

***************************************************************

In the morning I woke up to the sounds of my alarm.  Ben woke up as well, and I shut off the alarm.  I got up out of bed, and so did Ben.  He walked out of my room. I locked the door behind him, and grabbed a white walking dead shirt, and black leggings.  I grabbed colorful socks and grabbed my double laced nonhightop converse.

I walked out of my room and into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and then my hair which was crimped wavy as always.  I went into the kitchen to find Ben eating cereal I grabbed an apple and ate it.

I finished the apple throwing away the core.  Ben finished his cereal and put his dishes in the sink. We walked out the door, and I locked it behind us.  We got in his car, and he drove us to school.

We got of the car and walked into school together. We parted ways, and I went to my locker grabbed a couple books.  After that I headed off to class.

I sat at my desk bored out of my mind.  I couldn't focus at all on what my teacher was saying. I couldn't help but let my mind wonder to Ben. I thought about his blonde hair, dazzling blue eyes, his pale skin, and his dimpled smile. It was all perfect until the sound of the bell ringing pulled me out of my dazed thoughts.
