(Y/n) POV:
When you felt the furry and warm thing in your bed, you turned over to find......
"Shadow?!?! What are you doing in my bed?" You asked him as you shook Shadow to wake him up.
"What, (y/n)?" Shadow groggily said as he started to wake up.
"What are you doing in my bed, Shadow?" you repeated.
"It got cold on the couch, and your bed was empty, so......" Shadow explained as his voice trailed off.
"So you decided to come into my bed?!?!"
"Yeah, why? You got a problem with me being in your bed?" Shadow asked as he rolled over on his other side to face you. You saw that he was blushing a little and you felt your cheeks get red from blushing.
"Kinda."
"Well, if you want me out then...." Shadow said as he started to get out of the bed. You grabbed his wrist before he could get all the way out of your bed.
"Shads, I didn't mean it like that. Please stay with me." You pleaded. You actually liked having Shadow in your bed with you. Shadow climbed back into the bed with you. You cuddled into his chest fur as he wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you closer to him. "Goodnight, Shads."
"Goodnight, (y/n). And don't worry, I will fight off the bad dreams for you." Shadow said as he started to fall asleep. You smiled at the last thing he said. You leaned in and kissed his cheek before trying to go back to sleep. As you closed your eyes, you saw that Shadow's cheeks were cherry red and he was smiling at the kiss you left him. Then, you fell back asleep with Shadow.
*****In the morning*****
Shadow's POV
I woke up and looked at the clock in (y/n)'s room. It read 8:04 am. (Y/n) wasn't in the bed, so I got up and went down stairs looking for her. I was still a little shocked about the kiss that she gave me on my cheek last night before falling back asleep. As I walked downstairs, I saw (y/n) sitting on the couch, watching Sonic X (eh, eh? *nudge, nudge*). I still can't believe that faker has his own tv show!, I thought as I walked over and at down by (y/n) on the couch. She looked at me with her (e/c) eyes and I looked at her. I instantly saw her blushing really dark as her eyes slowly went down, looking at my chest. I forgot to put on a shirt before I came down here. "Like what you see?" I said with a smirk.
(Y/n) just stared into my eyes. Finally, she said, "Get up. We've got to go get dressed for work. I'll pick something up for us for breakfast on our way to work." With that, she got up and went to go get dressed. After she finished, I went and got dressed. I had went to my apartment while (y/n) got dressed so I can get some clothes for over here. Once I was done getting dressed, we left in (y/n)'s car.

(Y/n): At least we don't have to talk to Knuckles yet. That won't end well with him and Shadow.
Shadow: I heard my name! Whatcha saying about me?
(Y/n): Uh, Nothing! *blushes*
Shadow: Hmph. *crosses arms* I'm hungry!
Me: Don't worry, Shadow, you gonna get food in a little bit! See you in the next chapter my wonderful readers!
