Buggy The Clown Goes For A Walk

Interrogating Leonardo

The words Nicki said to Buggy echoed in his mind. He was just a pirate.

"Gaga take Michelangelo to the ship to get him checked out. Ariana get Buggy back to where he came from. I'm going ahead with the mission and going to find Leonardo before it's too late"

Gaga helped Michelangelo up and started walking out of the room as Ariana reached for Buggy. Buggy was spaced out thinking over everything that happened and how it was all just about to end as if it never happened. As though it was only just a dream. As Ariana reached for Buggy's arm he swiftly ran out of the building and went down an alley.

"It's fine we'll deal with him later" Nicki said

Buggy ran through the city until he knew he was safe. Then he knew he had to go and look for Leonardo before Nicki got there.

Leonardo made his way through the streets until he made it back to the Santa Maria delle Grazie. As he approached the door. There was a much more eary feeling all around. The air was cooler and misty, the wind echoed through the streets like screams, and there was no lights on in the Santa Maria delle Grazie. Buggy creaked open the door.

"Hello? Leonardo."

Buggy lit a lantern and looked around the room. Everything still looked the same and it didn't appear like anyone had entered since earlier in the day. Then Buggy heared a running and riffling sound.

"Hello?"

Leonardo entered the room.

"Hey! Is everything okay. Nothing out of the ordinary?" Buggy said concerned

Leonardo looked like a bit of a mess. He was sweating quite a lot and his outfit looked like he had just put it on. His hair was still stuck under his shirt and his hat was on sideways. Leonardo satrted to fix himself up.

"Ugh yes yes my friend, everything is totally normal nothing strange going on here."

"I came to make sure you were okay. I figured out the root of the problem were these two twins but I don't know anything else. Did you by any chance grow since I last saw you?"

"Oh perhaps. I've been trying this new drink. And twins, huh. Well I'll keep my eyes open but I haven't seen any. Would you like a drink before you head out my friend?"

"Ugh, sure"

Leonardo went over to his bar tray and started to pour some bourbon for the two of them. Buggy felt like something was off about Leonardo. Maybe the twins had already come by and messed with him.

"Ugh, can I use the washroom?"

"Of course, there down the hall to the left"

"Thanks"

Buggy made his way down the hall. The bathroom was to the right. It was strange Leonardo didn't know that when he has been working on the painting here for four years now.

"Maybe I should take a quick look around. Make sure nothing is out of the ordinary. Buggy opened a door down the hall. It was to a dark room. Buggy lit a match and looked around. It was strange. There was makeup and a clothing rack in there. Buggy went into another room. There were twin sized bunk beds. 

"This is strange"

"Having any trouble in there?"

"No no everything's fine" Buggy responded

Buggy knew he had been gone for almost a concerning amount of time so he had to quite his search and get back to Leonardo. 

"Do you by any chance have anyone staying here with you?"

"Oh no. It's just me and myself hehe"

Leonardo passed Buggy his glass. Buggy thought it was important to ask Leonardo some questions.

"What were you doing before I got here?"

"Oh you know just painting. I've been working on this new piece called the Mona Lisa"

Buggy remembered from his notes that the Mona Lisa wasn't painted until a couple years later and earlier in the day Leonardo was working on the Last Supper. Buggy looked at Leonardo's beard. It was strange. Almost looked fake.

"Hey i-"

There was a light tap on the door. 

"What's with all these guests today?" Leonardo whispered to himself

He opened the door and standing in the frame it was Nicki.

"Good evening sir. I work for the secret police." Nicki showed him a badge. "Mind if I take a quick look around?"

"Oh theres no need for that. I already had my friend here warn me."

Nicki looked in the room seeing Buggy sitting there. Nicki sighed

"Very well then have a good night sir"

"yes, thank you."

Leonardo sighed and made his way back to Buggy. 

"It's getting late I should get out of your hair"

"Oh but you haven't taken a sip of your drink"

Buggy looked down at it. There appeared to be something floating in it.

"That's alright I'm going to go"

"NO! I-I mean please why don't you stay the night"

Buggy knew something was really wrong with da Vinci. How was he going to get out of there?
