Long distance crush- Pranks

I walked slowly down the stairs with a Devious face, holding a tennis racket in my hand. I walked into the kitchen and told my mom that patch had jumped the fence and is being chased by a bull dog all round town.If you were wondering Patch is my friendly pet dog who is always up to mischief. Although Patch isn't scared of any dogs, she fell for it.

She hurried outside and shouted "Patch, Patch, don't worry mummies coming!!" She ran down the street shouting. I sort of felt bad for making her run all around the town, when secretly he's hiding underneath my bed in my bedroom. But she deserved it how could she even consider moving to Scotland!

While mom got busy running all round town searching for a dog that wasn't even there, I got busy putting up pranks for mom, for when she comes back. I got a tall chair from the kitchen table and placed it underneath the draws where mom kept all her flour and eggs for when she makes pancakes on Saturdays. I got the flour out of the draw and went upstairs and placed it on top of moms bedroom door. I muttered to myself and said "can't wait for that to fall on her."

I went back downstairs and looked through the window to see if I could see mom anywhere. I couldn't. I slowly sneaked outside with the tennis racket still in my hand and started whacking the for sale sign. My aim was to try and knock it down, but it didn't budge one bit. I suddenly saw mom coming back home crying.

I ran inside the house, ran up the stairs to my bedroom and opened the door to let patch out. Mom walked inside the house still sobbing and then called me down stairs. I sat next to her on the sofa in the living room she said "I can't find Patch, he's gone, gone to fined another family." Then I hugged her and said joyfully "No he hasn't he's here with me, he came home only ten minutes after you left. Now, you look in a right state mom. Your mascara is running all down your face. Go upstairs and clean yourself up."

I totally forgot about the flour prank on top of moms bedroom door, but I suddenly remembered when I herd her scream from upstairs. She came back down stairs with all flour down her. She said "who put this silly old prank on top of my wardrobe?" I thought what a silly question that was, when I was the only person in the house at the time. I obviously wasn't going to give in that easily so I said "I swear with my hand on my heart I had nothing to do with it." As I was saying this I placed my hand on my heart softly. Mom glared down at my t shirt it had a flour hand print on.

Mom went upstairs for the second time and got the bath running and shouted down at me "Your grounded for a week young lady!" I didn't lip back, it didn't after today anyway. But mom better not dare to move me to Scotland or she will be for it, you watch, she'll be for it.
