Ch9: The return to Avalon

Darkness again, who knows where

I was in this state again.

It's not like I'm sleeping, but I don't seem awake either. It's like I just close my eyes and stop listening and feeling what's outside. I should take this time to think about what is happening. In this state, the days can seem very short. That from where Norway I was woken up in a Russian city in a matter of minutes confirms that theory. Even by plane, it would be hours. And that the season has changed is even worse, because it means that maybe even months have passed. Not to mention, I now have the body of a fox white girl. Surely my original body is already buried somewhere so I won't be able to use it again. Now that I think about it, what would have happened to my family? I imagine that the news of my death had to reach them because it had been a good time. I wonder how my mother would have taken it. Not before that how will Maria be? Will she be okay? I don't think the angels will break their promise to keep her healthy, but how would she have taken the news that her brother ran away to go to the army and died far from home. I also think that by this time she must have left the hospital. I imagine my mother had to pick her up and there she would have given her the news.

I have to escape from this, I have to meet my family again as soon as possible. No matter how I look, I have to meet them again and explain that I'm still here, just a little different. Damn so this is what meant this would be permanent, HE had already seen this coming.

Now, how do I get out of this?

Well, the first thing is that it seems that War Lady is the one who is at my command. I am sure I have never heard her, both her voice and her callsing I had not heard before, but seeing her name must surely be someone important. The second thing is that because I have seen they seem to think that I am just a weapon to which they can give orders, just like a DOLL, I am sure that if I start acting carelessly they may discover me, so what I have to do what they tell me until I see the perfect opportunity to make my escape. And third, in order to escape, I need to get rid of the sedatives that they put on me, in other words, I have to undo the collar they put on me so I don't fall asleep again. But another problem would be if they put additional security measures apart from the collar, like a bracelet that if I leave a certain area explodes and that without counting the ones that I almost certainly have as a locator. Things that will make it more difficult for me to escape.

But in this state, the only thing I can do is wait until the next opportunity. Next time I have to take a closer look at what happens.

And again, like suddenly waking up when I fell out of bed, it came back to reality.

This time I wasn't immediately surrounded by gunfire but I could hear explosions in the background. When I opened my eyes I was in an even more different place than before, now I was surrounded by sand and earth on all sides, the houses were made of the same materials, and there was a fiery sun high in the sky that was so strong that It irritated the pale skin that I now had. Where I come from being under hot weather is normal but the one I had on me was in a completely different league. I was in a desert with no way to make mistakes. On the sky, you could see several missile trails, which because of how large they are must come from the east, from some cruiser warship. They head south from where I am.

But while trying to see what was happening, a voice began to speak.

"Very good Valkyria has already arrived at the place".
"Here Warlady".
"Your mission this time to help the Phoenix squad".
"Soon they will pass through your area".
"You must kill the Doll that is chasing them or delay it as much as possible".

And just for that, they have brought me ??
I thought they would give me better things to do than just fight another one of those. But I just said that I ran into the Phoenix team, are they here !? what are they doing now?
