Chapter 1: The Appearance Of The Gate

Satoru A.K.A Rimuru POV

It's already been more than a month now after me and my wife come to Earth, so today is my day off at work so I decide to take my wife to spend some money in a shopping store but there is a problem there are so many people looking at us except for me of course

Girl 1:"those girl are beautiful are they a model"

Girl 2:"probably I never see a beautiful woman like them before"

Girl 1:"and they also a man walking with him as well don't tell me he is dating with those beautiful girl"

Girl 3:"probably look how close they are"

Boy 1:"you are right I am really envy of that guy"

After hearing that I can see Velzard Velgrynd and Chloe look at me with a smirk face, there are many things that happened but first there's a lot of men from other company trying to recruit them to become a model in the company, but the girl declined all the request

Satoru:"why are you girl refuse the offer from them?"

Shizu:"if we do that we will not have time to spend time with you"

Hinata:"Shizu sensei is right we don't want to separate far away from you"

Satoru:"are you girl sure?"

Rimuru wife:"Yes"they said in unison

After we finish shopping we start to head back home but I start to see something strange in the middle of the street

After a few minutes later the gate start to appear in the middle of the street and after that there are a lot of soldier riding a horse wearing an armor holding a sword and a spear and they also a lot of monster come from the other side of gate as well

Soldier 1:"everyone attacked we will take this land for the emperor"

after he said that all the soldier and monsters start to split up and attack everywhere and they also start to fire an arrow from the sky and they also dragon size more bigger then a human had someone write on it and start to attack as well, after seeing that I decided to use my power to make sure all the arrow that they shoot did not hit the civilian

Satoru:"girl we need to help them"after I said that they start to move and help all the civilian evacuate to savers place

When I was busy fighting I start to see one soldier from the other gate trying to attack the police officer so I just knock him out and some civilian had escape with only mining wound injury, the soldier start to shoot the arrow again and one of those arrow almost hit a little girl by me grabbing it after see all those soldier from the other side of the gate has no hesitation to shoot a little innocent girl like that I decide to take a gun from the police officer and use them to shoot all those soldier but the gun is only have six bullet so I decide to create more by pretending grabbing from my clothes and I also get a lot of headshot, after that there is one soldier that fall in the ground start to stand up and grabbing a sword trying to attack me from behind but I already noticed that so I tried to turn around and point my gun at him but there is someone sneak attack behind that soldier and steal the sword from the soldier's hand and cut his throat and he died

Satoru:"why are you not evacuate to a safe place?"

???:"I should ask you the same thing"after he said that he go to talk with the police officer

After that I decide to ignore him and keep shooting by using the gun that I stole from the police officer to decrease the number of soldier that come out from the gate and I also can see some soldier take civilian people trying to forced them go through the other side of the gate when I see that I start to use the gun to shoot at them and tell those civilian to evacuate, and I start continue shooting them the man from earlier start to walk towards me and said

???:"we need to get out of here the Japanese JSDF will be here soon and they will finish the remain enemy come from that gate let's go"

After he said that I decide to listen to him and go a little bit far away from here, after that I can hear a helicopter and I look up and start to see the JSDF soldier prepare their gun and aim at the people that come from the other side of the gate and start to shoot them and the enemy from the other side the gate was wiped out

Satoru:"thanks if you didn't not tell me I might be end up in that gun shot"

???:"don't mention it and my name is Itami by the way"

Satoru:"nice to meet you, my name is Satoru Mikami"

Itami:"yes, by the way are you any chance used to be JSDF defend Force like me as well"

Satoru:"no I am just a contractor"

Itami:"really but the way you holding the gun and shoot at them is really impressive"

Satoru:"don't mention it, but I need to go to check is there any civilians still alive"

after that me and Itami decide to check around is there any survivor but I already analyzed that few hundred civilian had died and some of them was captured and take to the other side of the gate and some of them was missing

Satoru:"looks like we did not manage to save all of them"

Itami:"You are right but there is nothing we can do about it now"

After that we decide to separate our way, I start to walk and just to find all of my wife was crowded by people and try to say thanks to them for saving them, then I decide to take the gun that I steal from the police back to him but he take me to police station and want me to report everything that happened and asked me some question about how am I good at shooting gun and who are the people that saving all the civilian AKA My wife And I try my best to answer the question by hiding the fact that I'm from another world and after that I decide to analyze the gate and give all the data to other me in Tempest
