Why

Part 1

                                                                                     Chapter 1

    It is 1 o'clock am. Olivia Ricardo sits in the police station, blood covers her from top to bottom. She has been there for about 10 hours. She is scared for her life. She says"If you think I did this, you must be out of your mind''Officer Jones says to her"Olivia you were the only one reported being seen there, within the time of the murder.''

    Five days earlier. Hi I am Olivia Ricardo. I'm 16, and I love to go down to the river with my five best friends. There is Madi, she is the funniest person and she can make the whole room light up. She never tells her secrets to anyone.

    Second is Justin, he sings most of the time, but he is not afraid to tell people how he really feels. Next there is Max, and he is the one friend that likes to think of laws as suggestions . Next on our list is Lindsey, she likes to read books, but when she is not reading, she writes really good stories. Last but not least there is Sadie, she is the fashion kind of gal. she likes to shop at malls, you should know the rest.

    On a Sunday we all went to Max's house, because Sadie had texted us that" We need to meet somewhere now'' Max replied"My house.'' So within the next ten minutes we all arrive. She starts off by saying" I might be moving and my parents said they have looked at a house in Ohio.'' I say" Please tell me you are lying.'' 

   Everyone sheds a tear. To think someone who means the world to us can be leaving. We all sit there in silence. We all part ways and say bye to one another, I say to Sadie if she hears anything else to text me or call me. It is Monday, it is six in the morning, and I text everyone saying

  "Good morning everyone.'' Everyone except Sadie answers. That worries me, but I brush it off, and tell myself she is probably doing online shopping and didn't see the message appear at the top. I met with the others at school to ask them when was the last time they texted Sadie and did she respond to them? They all answered at about seven pm last night. I think for myself for a minute.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     I looked through my text with her and yeah the last time she texted me was around seven. I'm a little worried so I called her with no answer. I tried about 5 more times, still no answer. I tell the others bye and that I need to go to class. I started to head to class and then Sadie's mom texted me asking if I had seen her since last night. I text back "No, but she texted me around seven''She answers" She never came home from when she meet with you guys at Max's house.''

   That struck me as weird . So I tell my teacher that I don't feel well at all. She wrote me a pass to go to the nurse's office. I walk past the light gray lockers and the big school posters about drama club meetings and chest club. After what seemed like forever I finally arrived. The nurse tells me to sit down. So I sat. She asked me"What's wrong dear''I said, "I feel like I am going to throw up."                                                                                                                                                                                                                The nurse says"Do you think there is a reason why you feel like that?'' I shake my head no because if I talk I'm going to throw up. She tells me to lay down. But that does not help at all. Twenty minutes goes by and nothing has changed at all. I run to the trash can, and throw up. The nurse sends me home half way through the day. I go home and I feel a little better.
