Chapter 1

Tae holds his newborn baby for the first time. It's the proudest and most cherished moment between a parent and their child. A dark-haired little boy sleeps silently in his arms.

"My Baby..You're finally here. Welcome to the world," he coos.

After 37 long weeks of pregnancy and nine hours of labour, he is now the proud parent of Kim Taeguk.

"I wish your father could be here...He would be so happy if he knew of your existence." He pulls the small bundled in a light blue blanket closer to his chest and begins to cry.

That's the painful truth. He ran from Jungkook the day he found out he was pregnant. Not a word was whispered about it. He did it so his child would be safe. Tae couldn't let his child to born into Mafia World.

He couldn't let his child be born in the world of a crime lord. Tae wouldn't allow it. Taeguk would always be a target.

So the best option to protect his baby was to hear the truth from all mighty Jeon Jungkook..

Tae has a chance to give his baby a normal life without worrying about the possibility of her being used as leverage on Jungkook. Tae will do anything in his power to hide his baby from his father.

He doesn't know much of the man's whereabouts as of now. Last he heard, Jungkook was turning over every rock and looking around every corner to find him.

But there is no way Tae would be found. Tae made sure to hide every trace and evidence of his travel to Canada.

He had to use a fake passport and he knew it was illegal but he would do anything for his baby.

Taeguk is living proof of their love..The love between Mafia King JK Alas Jeon Jungkook and just an ordinary boy Kim Taehyung.

Tae wiped his eyes with his free hand..

"Mr Kim, We have to fill his Birth Certificate. Can you provide his Father's name?"

"His Father and Mother both are me.." Tae wiped the new tears escaping from his eyes and looked at the nurse who was looking at him with sympathy.

The Nurse gave a nod and left the room leaving Tae alone in the room.

Tae stays quiet. He did what he had to do even when it hurt like hell.

He loved Jungkook. Loves Jungkook. He wishes so badly that things were different but he can't risk the life of his child for the romantic love he felt.

Tae continues to look at the face of his sleeping child. Every aspect of him screamed Jungkook.

The skin tone, the thick black curly hair he had, the facial features. His eyes may not be black yet but Tae can bet his life they will change into that recognizable color.

"You look just like him, you know that? Your Father will be so proud if he sees you.. He'll always be a part of who you are no matter what. I'm sorry you have to grow up without your father. I know it's not fair to you or him but if you were in my place you'd understand."

Tiny Taeguk coos and squirms. It made Tae smile for the first time in a while. Let it be the first of many down the road.

"Papa, She took my Teddy ..!"

"Gukki..You could have asked her nicely..Say Sorry Now.."

It has been Five Years and day by day Gukkie is showing the same attitude as his Father and Tae doesn't know he should be happy or sad about it.

Gukki developed a more demanding and cold character just like his Father and his attitude has gotten so close to his father.

He smiles just like his father.. the same bunny smile and big doe eyes but when he is angry he is an exact carbon copy of his father..

Rabbit genes Tae mumbles to himself every time he sees his little gukki shows the similarity with his father..

He hates injustice and even as a five-year-old he always stood up for himself or someone in need just like today.

Another girl in the park forcefully took his teddy bear and Gukkie chose to push the little girl down making him cry.

Finally with lots of cooing and threatening to take back the teddy from Tae little Gukkie said sorry..

Tae smiles down at his pouting five year old who is not happy to apologise.

Even though he developed a more demanding type of attitude over the years he loved his Pa so much that he never said no to his Pa.

"My Little gukki wants Ice cream for being a good boy? "

"Yeah..i want Ice cream .." little Gukkie screamed excitedly.

" you have to say the magic word gukki "

" Pwease ...can I have an ice cream."

"Good. And yes, I will buy you an Ice cream." Tae walks over and hoists his little boy up high into the air which he giggles at.

Both of them enjoyed the evening with laughter but little did they know a certain man was watching them from across the street.

"What are your orders, JK?" Jimin spoke from behind the man.

"Find me who that child is and what connections it may have to Tae. Get me his address as well."

Jimin nodded in understanding and stepped away to make the phone.

After nearly six years of searching, Jungkook had finally found the love of his life..his Tae.

If it wasn't for him coming to Canada on business he wouldn't have found his beloved. It was pure coincidence that he saw Tae at the park.

But the happiness vanished as soon as he saw the little child who is hugging his beloved.

Does Tae start a family without him? The very first thought rushed to his mind. But there was no woman near them. Maybe at home.

He wanted to grab Tae and asked him how dare he run away from him and play house in another Country.

Jungkook's anger rose to see that he had been forgotten so quickly and so easily. Tae had a child and a new life.

Might he say he felt a twinge of hurt? After all these years of searching and wondering if Tae was even still alive, this is what he comes to find.

He clenched his fist to control his anger.

He watches the two for a good ten minutes before he turns and heads back towards his car. He clenched his fists too hard till his nails made him bleed.

He went back to his hotel asking his right hand Jimin if any information was found on Tae or the child he was seen with it was to be brought to him immediately.

How could he do this to him? How could he play with his heart like this? Jungguk felt his eyes get teary with anger.

He doesn't know how many gangs he destroyed or how many times he tortured gang leaders to know a tiny detail of Tae's whereabouts..

Jungguk destroyed all the gangs who were his enemies or challenged him for his crown in the mafia world, suspecting they might hurt his love. But all along Tae hid in this country playing House..

Jungkook has suffered in past years with heartache without knowing what happened to Tae..Every minute he spent without him was suffocating but it looked like Tae could live without him and he won't let it go easily.
