Last Chapter

On another day upon Gukki's request, they went back to the park to play. Even after two hours, Gukkie was not tired but Tae's he was exhausted from his work.

Working in a cafe with minimum staff as a Manager was Exhausting and with Gukki's energy, he won't get or be able to get rest till Gukkie fell asleep.

"Alright kiddo, I think we should go home. It's getting late." Tae said as he held Gukkie's little hand making little Gukki pouting..

"Awww, we leaving..can't we stay a little more papa?" Gukkie whines.

"No..We can't Gukkie..Come on..Come on... Common, let's go." Tae gives a cheerful smile and holds out his hand for Gukkie to take.

Although he had to admit, the reason he wanted to go home was because he felt off the whole day. It was like something was going to happen and he didn't know what, where or when. He doesn't know if it's a maternal instinct kicking in telling him his child might be in danger or if it's his 'Tae instincts' telling him he's the one in danger. His sixth sense was always correct.

He looks out towards the road and sees the cars going by. That's when his eyes become wide. The unmistakable black, expensive car was driving from the area..

Then everything clicked. He had seen many black expensive cars roaming around the town past few days.

In all these years he spent in this small countryside town,  no one owned this many expensive vehicles as most of the townspeople were not rich enough to afford that kind of vehicle.

Tae knew what that meant. He had been found.

He had been found..He panicked..What if Jungkook knows about Gukkie's existence? 

Jeon Jungkook, The Mighty King of Mafia Tae loved more than his own life and the man he spent almost six years away from, had discovered where he had been hiding..

He picked up Gukkie and quickly started back to their house. He was constantly looking over his shoulder for any sign that he was being followed. He didn't see anyone but that didn't mean he was in the clear.

Once in his house, Tae didn't place Gukkie in their small living room as they were used to. As soon as he entered the home he made sure to lock the room and went directly to Gukkie's toom and placed him on the bed.

Tae crouched in front of his child.

"Gukki..you have to listen to me OK..I want you to stay inside the room No matter what you can't come out OK..you have to  keep your voice down and make no  noise OK baby"

Gukki was confused at first but nodded his head to his Pa's unusual request..

"Thank you, once I'm done we can do something fun together." Tae smiled and ruffled his hair.

Tae, on the other hand, rushed out of the room and sat down on the sofa with his head in his hands. He needed to plan his next move. He never thought JK would find him..What should he do..He grabbed his own hair out of frustration.

Tae doesn't want Jungkook in his son's life. He doesn't want to see his little Gukki is become a target in the crime world. The best way is to keep them separate for their own good.

Tae desperately wanted some miracle to happen in his life. If Jungkook knew he hid his son from him Tae was pretty sure JK would skin him alive or lock him up for eternity. It would be impossible for him to move and not be seen transporting all possessions from his house to a new one. Gukkie would have to change schools and the paperwork was too traceable.

So, long story short... he was fucked.

Immensely fucked.

He sighs in frustration.
