Chapter 5 Victory

Hello everyone, I have returned!

Sorry for the 2 month break, I got the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX since it was on sale along with the third game and I've just haven't been able to stop playing. Also I've kinda gotten stuck on the beginning part of this story and have been having trouble trying to write my way through it, hopefully it had turned out good in the end.

I've yet to get any comments from you lot, my disappointment is immeasurable. I did managed to get an AO3 account, so I'll be posting this story on there as well.

Besides that I've been watching Beast Wars 2 & Beast Wars Neo. These two shows have given me a new plan for when this story gets around to season 2. Combine that with my research on the two comics The Gathering & The Ascending, along with a few other Beast Wars related stories, and this fanfic may become something to remember, hopefully.

Now onto the story!

The simulation room was alive and active as holographic constructs littered the room and some dolls sat behind some artificial cover with their weapons primed. One of the dolls peeked over its cover and in the next moment its head blown off. As the doll dissipated its comrades rose up and began to open fire upon the one responsible for its death.

Raf charged the dolls position with his gun a blazing, even when he was hit he did not stop charging. The moment he was close enough he leaped over their cover and, before they could turn around to retaliate, unloaded upon the remaining dolls. In moments the dolls were sporting some new holes and began dissipating.

A second group of dolls appeared and Raf quickly dove for cover. As he sat behind his cover, the dolls peppering it with shot after shot, a plan begin formulating in his head. He could hear the dolls approaching his position and a plan was set. Once the dolls were right on top of him Raf reach over the cover and grabbed the closest one before yanking him over. He moved fast to get the doll he grabbed in front of him to use as a shield. The other dolls did not care for their companion being used as a shield and opened fire. As the doll took the hits, Raf returned fire with his own weapon, nailing most of them with the first few shots. Just as he got to the last two the doll he was using to take the hits for him dissipated within his grasp. His opponents capitalized on this and fired upon him, scoring quite a few hits as he dove to the side to avoid their shots. The shock from their hits caused his anger to spike and in the next few moments he let off a few shots of his own, managing to hit the dolls.

Not long after the dolls deaths more dolls spawned in to replace the second lot and Raf wasted no time in rushing that group as well. The dolls only got off a few shots before Raf was upon them and it turned into a close quarters fight. Raf showed no mercy to the dolls as he brutally beat the dolls to death with his fist, and even bludgeoned a few with his gun. He fought with a rage and fury that was uncharacteristic of him, he even appeared downright feral. When there was only one doll left Raf staked towards it, ready to finish it off. Just as he got within arms reach of it the doll blindsided him with a punch to the face. Raf stumbled back a bit from the blow before fixing a murderous glare on the doll. He hissed at it before pouncing on it and the two falling to the floor. In the next moment Raf had the dolls head between his hands and he pulled, it head coming off with ease. 

Raf looked around frantically, looking for his next bunch of opponents. He then spotted some that were just about finished spawning in before they just disappeared. They weren't the only things that disappeared as all the other constructs in the room followed suite as the room returned to normal. Confused, Raf turned to head to the rooms control panel to see what was wrong when he saw Optimus standing right next to it.
