Chapter 6 Intrusion

I LIVE!!!

God damn its been over a year since I last updated this thing. Real sorry that it took this long to get this out to you guys. A lot of things had happened to me since I released the previous chapter. From getting infected with Covid to then going through surgery, it's been pretty rough for me. Then life happened and I was left with little time to really sit down and write, even then I wasn't really feeling like writing when there was a moment.

But now I'm back and you all got a new chapter to read. Also I've seen the Transformers One movie and it was great! Then I just the resent batch of episodes for Earthspark and it was kinda meh, though there were some nice scenes here and there.

But that's it, I don't got anything else to say so I'll leave you lot to the story.

"Computer, bring up combat log #074."

"Acknowledge."

A metal limb came down from the ceiling with a screen attached to the end of it. The screen came to life and video recording began to play. It showed an engagement between the Maximals and Predacons in a narrow canyon with a river running straight through the middle. The Predacons are shown to of had the high ground, stationed on a high up ridge, which gave them the advantage over the Maximals below them. All looked to be in Predacons favor, but then Rhinox started shooting at the rock-face above them. Suddenly the Predacons were buried and the Maximals got away with only their leader injured. The feed ends.

"Combat log #083."

"Acknowledge."

Another video played showing a battle waging in the middle of a forest. Only two Maximals were present, Cheetor and Rattrap, and they were outnumbered two to one in this firefight. Both sides were using the trees as cover, trading shots with each other every few moments. Suddenly Cheetor rushed the Predacons, weaving between the trees as he ran. The Predacons tried to land a shot on him but he was too fast and the weaving between trees made it near impossible. Once he was close enough he fired a few burst from his weapon before stopping with a smirk. When nothing initially happen the Predacons proceeded to mock him. Their mocking was cut short when the trees they used for cover fell down on top of them. Cut to black.

"Combat log #091."

"Acknowledge."

The screen came to life depicting a desert clearing rich with raw energon. Both factions were engaged in close-quarters combat while in their beast modes. It was chaotic as their beast modes made it a bit difficult to fight, but still managing to inflict meaningful damage to one another. The Maximal leader, Optimus Primal, then ripped a big shard of energon out of the ground and proceeded to use it as a club against the Predacon leader, Megatron. It all came to a head when Terrorsaur, clearly sick of trying to fight in his beast mode, transformed and fire his gun. What happened next was to be expected when firing any sort of projectile based weapon anywhere near unstable energon, it explodes. Both sides were lucky to have gotten out of that with only scorched plating and minor injuries.

"Combat log #132!"

"Acknowledge."

This one showed a one on one fight between both leaders of their respective factions on a mountain top. Both were clashing with their blades, Optimus with his duel curved blades and Megatron using his tail blade. It was a deadly duel that appeared to be in Megatron's favor as he manged to knock Primal to the ground. Victory looked to be in sight and Megatron seemed to want to savor it by lording over his nemesis's impending demise. That was a grave mistake as Optimus brought his arm gun and fired it at the gloating Predacon. With the tables now turned, Optimus now loomed over a wounded Megatron with his weapon armed and ready. In a single moment it would be over for Megatron, but that did not come to pass. Optimus instead picked him up and tossed him down the mountain side. Megatron tumbled and rolled as fell down the side of the mountain, hitting some rocks that stuck out occasionally. As he neared the bottom a rather pointy looking rock sat at the foot of the mountain, and right in Megatron's path. Moments pass as the Predacon leader came closer and closer before finally-
