Sarah's pov:
I've finally finished cleaning the house. But it's already 4:30. I checked my phone and I had a text from my mom saying that I need to go pick up a dress for tonight because all of mine were to ugly.
I just replied with 'k' before going upstairs to shower. After I showered and got changed, I went out to my jeep to go the mall.
When I got to the mall, I noticed a lot of pack members were around. Most of them were pointing at me and laughing or giving me disgusted looks. But I just ignored them because I was used to it.
I went to H&M because I knew that that's where my mom would've picked out my dress. Even though I hate that store. I definitely prefer to stick to my thrift stores.
As I walked in and went to the register, I noticed a pack member was working.
"Hi," I smiled at her. "I'm here to pick up a dress that my mom ordered but I need to try it on first."
She didn't say anything but handed me the dress while rolling her eyes. As I was walking away I heard her mutter something under her breath and couldn't help but roll my eyes back.
I just shook my head and went to try on the dress. It surprisingly fit and it didn't look too bad on me. Since it was black, I automatically took a liking to it. So I changed back into my clothes and went to pay for it because I knew my mom never would.
But as I tried to open the dressing room door, it wouldn't budge. I shook the handle a few times and pushed on the door. I realized that someone must have put something in front of the door so that I couldn't get out.
I checked the time on my phone. 5:30 pm. Shit. My parents would be home any minute and if I'm not there they'll punish me. I started banging my fists on the door hoping someone would hear and help me. But I assumed that no one would come.
After spending a few more minutes locked in there, I realized that I would just have to use my werewolf strength. I was the alphas daughter after all.
So I backed up as far as I could before running up to the door and slamming my shoulder into it. It easily broke.
'Whoops' I though as the door tore off of its hinges and there wasn't anything blocking it.
I mentally face palmed as I realized that I didn't turn the lock before trying to open it. "I'm so dumb sometimes," I said to myself.
I tried walking up to the register like nothing had happened, but the she wolf was staring at me with her mouth hanging open. I gave her an embarrassed smile and put all of the money in my wallet on the counter before quickly leaving.
When I got back into my jeep I checked the time. 5:47 pm. That's not good. I'm officially going to be late and my mom and dad are going to kill me.
I speed home as fast as I could without getting pulled over. When I got home I checked the time again. 6:07 pm. I ran inside as quickly as I could and slammed the door shut when suddenly I smelled it.
The most intoxicating scent I had ever smelled. It was a mix of fresh rain and a forrest smell. But it was also really masculine. It was intriguing and my wolf was going crazy.
I was so distracted by the smell that I didn't realize my dad storming towards me until it was too late. He smashed his fist into my face with such force I fell onto the ground and tried not to black out. But as I received more blows to my stomach and face, I slowly sunk into the darkness.
Alpha Aiden's pov:
I sighed as I drove my car to the neighboring alphas pack for dinner. He insisted I come over for dinner with his family.
I hate him though. He's a weak and pathetic alpha. Every time he has trouble he calls me for help. It's a nuisance and I've been considering taking over his pack.
There's no way he could stop me because I'm the strongest alpha in the United States and I have a reputation for being a ruthless and brutal alpha.
Though I am strict with my pack, it's for their own good. It's what make them strong. I'm proud of my pack and I'll defend them till I die.
As I pulled into Alpha Tristan's driveway, I resisted the urge to turn around and go back home making up an excuse about being sick. I waited for my beta and third in command to pull up before going up to the front door.
After I had rung the doorbell Alpha Tristan's son, Jace, answered. As he took in my physique, he cowered away a little and bowed his head in respect. I smirked.
I know I'm intimidating. With my 6'3 height along with my broad shoulders and big stature, everyone cowers away. And unless you're an alpha or in my pack, you don't look into my grey eyes either.
I ran my hand through my brown hair before walking into the house. Alpha Tristan and Luna Kate invited me to sit at the dining table along with my beta and third in command.
"I apologize for my daughters absence," he said. "She should be here soon."
"It's fine," I replied.
Right as we were sitting down, I heard the door open and then slam closed. It was then that I smelled it. The most amazing scent that I have ever smelled. It was absolutely intoxicating.
It was a mixture of flowers, grass, and fresh rain. It was really refreshing. Kind of like taking a whiff of the outdoors right after a rain storm.
I quickly stood to see who the scent was coming from as my wolf was going crazy. Then I saw her. She was an angel. With her long brown hair and slim body, I knew she was perfect even though I couldn't see her face yet.
Before I could walk up to her, Alpha Tristan shoved past me and went straight up to her and punched her right in the face.
As she fell to the ground he started to punch and kick her all over leaving me in shock. As I noticed her blacking out, I lost it.
'I'm going to kill him' was the only thing I could think as I walked up to him letting my wolf take over.
