~ flashback ~
Fred wished he never went to that stupid party with FP that one Friday night after school it wasn't as if FP even hung out with him that night because since they arrived FP started flirting with Alice and hanging out with some other boys,
All Fred did was stand in the corner sipping his drink he had gotten from FP and hoped the drink didn't have alcohol, 'i should just leave...’ Fred thought as he watched FP sit on a couch with Alice as if they were actually together but Fred knew they weren't... not yet at least,
Fred made his way outside pulling his jacket’s hood up when heard FP call his name,
“Hey Freddy where are you going?!" "Home!” Fred replied not looking back at him until FP grabbed his arm making him turn,
“Fred come on! Why are you going so ear-
"why?! Because all you are doing is hanging out with your new friends and flirting with Alice!” Fred snapped cutting FP off,
“it's not my fault you don't have any friends but me!!" FP snapped back, "why can't you just grow up and stop staying in my shadow like a puppy who needs a master!!”
Fred stepped back and looked at FP like he just slapped him,
“... I'm nothing like a puppy! I have other friends! And i don't need you!! “
“yeah right! You always want me around you!” FP growled out,
“didn't YOU want me here tonight only to ditch me for Alice?!" Fred yelled
FP looked like he was in a trap as he tried to think of a comeback,
“forget you Jones! I'm going home!!"
~end of flashback~
Fred jumps as he hears a car door slamming shut from in the kitchen and he quickly goes to the front window to see Archie and jughead yelling at each,
“you ditched me jug! To go watch a movie with Betty instead of me!!" Archie was yelling from his side of the car at jughead who was standing by the other side of the car,
"I can't believe you Jones!"
“i didn't even want to see that stupid movie!" Jughead yelled back,
“that doesn't mean you ditch me after you promised!"
Archie yelled as he walked to the front door,
“wait Archie...” jughead called out running to follow Archie,
“no jughead!" Archie sighed not looking at jughead as he stared at the door knob
"... I'm.... I'm too upset right now!... we'll take tomorrow..." Archie walked into the house and closed the door in Jughead's face,
Archie didn't look at his dad but fred could tell Archie had tears in his eyes as he walked to his room,
Fred looked out to jughead who was pacing the front porch and running his hands though his hair before quickly walked away clearly upset with himself,
‘as he should be..’ Fred thought as he watched jughead leave…
