The stars danced around in the night sky, watching over the restaurant that the young couple had decided to book for their anniversary date. The large windows, of which they were seated next to, gave them a perfect opportunity to observe the majestic, twinkling stars from the comfort of inside. Long hair sweeping over her shoulders and down her back, the woman’s face was fixated on the sky, her eyes glowing with admiration. One thought swirled around in her mind. “Pretty, pretty…everything’s so pretty.”

Her boyfriend was known for doing extravagant things to please his lover. She did not ask for much at all, but she was never surprised at the amount of effort he put into making sure she had a wide smile on her face. But - low and behold - it had surprised her. Mainly because of how beautiful the restaurant seemed to be in every way. From the decor, to the atmosphere, to the food. And it was secondly because of how her lover had worked so hard, saved up so much just for something special like this.

So she showed her appreciation. She was definitely not good at words, nor was she all that keen on PDA, but even just a little shoulder touch was enough. Because they both knew that every touch was filled with so much love and gratitude.

Under the table, while waiting for their meal, her food had lightly touched his. And just a bit above, her hand had moved to sit on his soft thigh. All while her eyes flashed dozens of romantic sparkles at him.

The performer for the night, a tall man with mint-and-white hair, gently played his violin from across the room. Such a beautiful serenade it was, the notes dancing around the lovers and enrapturing them in such a heavenly feeling.

It was perfect. All too perfect.

And when they had finished having the most wonderful evening of their lives, she had taken his arm and led him to her house. She kept on playfully kissing his cheek, so giddy with excitement at the raw thrill of romance.

And when they went home, the magic never stopped, even so late into the night.
