A Birthday Surprise {Eren x Reader}

You woke up to absolute silence. Yep. Today was going to be pretty weird. Usually, you woke up to Sasha screaming in your ear, or flopping on your bed next to you, but not this morning.

On the bright side, it was your birthday! Not that it really meant much anymore. It was normally spent with your parents and older brother. Sadly, they were gone.

You let out a surprisingly loud sigh, so loud that it echoed through the room, and forced yourself out of bed.

'Where the heck is everybody? And why did nobody wake me up...?' You thought to yourself. 'I thought we were friends! But it seems like you want the corporal to get all pissy because I came late to training.'

So far, your birthday was not at all going as planned.

You brushed your (H/L) (H/C) hair, sloppily putting it into a ponytail. 'And today of all days...'

You put on your uniform and headed to the dining area. Nothing whatsoever. 'Did everyone plan a trip or something I didn't know about? Or maybe they got eaten by Titans... Pfffffft, as if. Why would you even think such a thing (Y/N)?' You crossed your arms looking around the room.

No trace of anybody. It was like the place was abandoned.

"Hello?" Your calm voice echoed throughout the room. You jumped slightly as you heard a 'pssst' come from the other side of the dining area.

You smiled slightly seeing who it was. Jean. Your childhood friend. "Jean? Where did everyone go?"

"Well..." He started. "Don't worry about that! Just come here." He motioned you over to the wall he was hiding behind.

You rolled your eyes and walked over to him, completely confused on what was going on. "Um... Why am I-" You were cut off by him covering your mouth and eyes, while two other unknown people tied your legs and arms.

"I'm so sorry I had to be the one to do this (Y/N). Please don't hate me." He sighed, uncovering your mouth as a cloth was used to gag you.

You squirmed and tried screaming, but it was no use.

Everything around you was surrounded by darkness, as you felt yourself being lifted onto someone's shoulders. 'What. The. Hell. Is. Happening.'

~Timeskip of about 10 minutes~

You let yourself be carried, to... Well wherever the heck you were going. The people carrying you sat you down in a chair, slowly undoing the restraints around your arms and legs. By now, you had drool leaking from the corners of your mouth and it was irritating as hell not being able to wipe it off.

They took the cloth from your mouth and you panted heavily. A purple aura formed around you as you wiped the corners of your mouth and laughed darkly. "Y-You... You... What the hell was tha-"

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY (Y/N)!!!"

Looking up, you saw each and every one of your friends. There was a table set up, with so many decorations. Everyone had little hats on, and Connie had thrown up confetti. Some of it still on top of his head. Still scanning the field, you noticed Eren wasn't present.

'Where's Eren...?' You thought to yourself. Shaking your head, you snapped out of your daze. A hint of redness dusted over your cheeks as you processed what was happening.

"You guys... Didn't abandon me while going on some kind of trip...?"

Hanji laughed and strutted towards you. "Whaddaya mean (Y/N)? Why would we go on a trip without YOU! I mean, you're like the life of the party! Plus, I think Eren would be a bit disappointed if you didn't come anyways." She smirked, throwing her arm around your shoulder.
