Olivia's POV Today was the day Cheryl and I were goin to the magistrate to finalize me adoption. I was nervous about the whole thing. I was worried that Cheryl would change her mind. I think Cheryl picked up on my anxiety. She walked up to me
She said: Liv, come sit down babe
I sat next to her
She said: What's on your mind babe?
Tears were rolling down my face and I didn't notice until Cheryl gently wiped them with her thumbs. She gently brushed hair out of me face
She said: What's wrong babe?
I said: Is this really permanent?
She said: Is what permanent love? The adoption?
I nodded
She said: Of course it is my love
She hugged me and I hugged her back
Cheryl's POV I hugged my soon to be daughter
I said: Ready love? Let's get this done!
She nodded and we drove to the courthouse

The Magistrate said: And both parents unfortunately passed away?
Olivia looked down. I put me arm around her
I said: Yes unfortunately
The Magistrate said: And everythin here is up to date?

I looked at Olivia and she had the biggest smile on her face. We went outside and there was a large group of people

The crowd cheered. I laughed a little
I said: Come on babe, let's go home
She said: Mam, I mean Cheryl
I said: You can call me "mam" if you'd like to
