Nora sat in her room, the soft glow of a desk lamp illuminating her journal. She had been writing about Alexia again, the words flowing freely as she tried to capture her thoughts and feelings.

"I can't help but think about Alexia," Nora wrote. "There's so much more to her than meets the eye. I see moments of vulnerability, like that smile this morning, and I wonder what lies beneath the tough exterior. Maybe, just maybe, we can find a way to connect."

As she continued to pour her thoughts onto the pages of her journal, Nora couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. It was a hope that maybe, through small gestures of kindness and understanding, they could rebuild what had been fractured.

Later that evening, as Nora was writing in her journal, Mapi couldn't resist her curiosity. She entered Nora's room and asked with a playful grin, "What are you writing about, sis?"

Startled, Nora quickly shut her journal, her cheeks flushing slightly. "Oh, just some thoughts and reflections," she replied, trying to sound casual.

Mapi chuckled, knowing that her sister was often private about her thoughts and feelings. "Well, whatever it is, I hope it's helping you process everything."

Nora nodded, appreciating her sister's understanding. She couldn't help but wonder if she'd ever share the contents of her journal with Mapi, especially if her thoughts continued to center around Alexia.

Later in the evening, the three of them decided to have a movie night. They gathered in the living room, each settling in for a cozy evening of entertainment. Alexia used her crutches to make her way to the couch, taking a seat beside Nora.

As the movie played on the screen, Nora and Alexia found themselves sitting closer than before, their shoulders touching. The room was filled with the soft glow of the TV, the sound of the movie, and the warmth of shared company.

As the movie progressed, Nora, perhaps feeling the comfort of their proximity, soon fell asleep, her head resting against Alexia's shoulder. Alexia, lost in thought, didn't move or wake her. Instead, she allowed herself to sit there, immersed in the flickering light of the TV.

Mapi watched the two of them, a mixture of emotions swirling within her. She knew that something had shifted between her sister and her teammate, but she wasn't quite sure what to make of it.

The apartment was filled with a silence that spoke volumes, a moment of quiet connection and contemplation. As the movie played on, the three of them were left to their own thoughts, each uncertain about the path that lay ahead and the unspoken feelings that lingered in the air.

Nora's peaceful slumber was interrupted by a gentle shake. She stirred, slowly becoming aware of her surroundings. Blinking sleepily, she realized that Alexia was sitting next to her on the couch, looking somewhat uncomfortable.

"Hey, Nora," Alexia said in a hushed tone, "you fell asleep. The movie's over."

Nora's cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she mumbled a soft "Sorry" to Alexia. She pushed herself up into a sitting position, rubbing her eyes to chase away the remnants of sleep.

Feeling a bit self-conscious, Nora decided it was time to retreat to her room. She made her way up the stairs, leaving Alexia and Mapi in the living room. As she settled into her room, Nora couldn't help but think about the evening.

Nora picked up Alexia's hoodie from her bed. She had taken weeks earlier , hoping the familiar scent would bring her comfort. She pressed the fabric to her face, inhaling deeply, and closed her eyes.

In that moment, as she nestled into the hoodie and thought about Alexia, a sense of warmth and contentment washed over her. It was as if the scent carried with it a connection that transcended the physical distance between them.

Nora soon drifted off to sleep, her thoughts filled with images of Alexia and a growing sense of hope that perhaps, with time and understanding, they could find their way back to each other.

The days continued to pass, marked by a delicate balance of tension and small moments of connection. Mapi had been observant of her sister's interactions with Alexia, and a growing concern had settled in her heart. She couldn't help but notice the way Nora looked at Alexia, the glances and smiles that seemed to linger.

One evening, when they were alone in the kitchen, Mapi decided to broach the subject with her sister. "Nora," she began gently, "I've noticed that you've been spending a lot of time with Alexia."

Nora, who had been washing dishes, paused for a moment before replying with a shrug, "Well, we're friends ."

Mapi couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to it than Nora was letting on. She leaned in closer to her sister, her voice low and cautious. "Nora, I know you. I can see the way you look at her, the way you smile when you're around her. Do you...do you have feelings for Alexia?"

Alexia, who had entered the kitchen, overheard the conversation. Her expression darkened, and she interjected sharply, "What are you two even talking about?"

Mapi hesitated, torn between protecting her sister and addressing her concerns. She glanced at Nora as Nora scoffed leaving the room before returning her attention to Alexia. "I just thought... Maybe there's something between you and Nora that i should know about."

Alexia's reaction was swift and filled with frustration. She shook her head vehemently, her tone edged with anger. "No, Mapi, there's nothing between me and Nora. You're reading too much into it. I don't like her like that."

With that, Alexia turned on her heel and stormed out of the kitchen, her anger palpable. She made her way to her room, slamming the door behind her.

What Mapi and Alexia didn't realize was that Nora had been in the living room and had overheard their conversation. Tears welled up in her eyes as she clutched Alexia's hoodie, which she had been wearing. She felt a deep ache in her chest, the weight of unspoken feelings and the pain of rejection.

Nora retreated to her room, where she cried into the hoodie, the fabric absorbing her tears. She had allowed herself to hope, to imagine a future where her connection with Alexia could grow into something more. But now, confronted with Alexia's denial, she felt a profound sense of heartache and uncertainty.

As the night settled around her, Nora was left to grapple with the complex emotions that swirled within her. It was a moment of profound sadness and longing, as she confronted the reality of unrequited feelings and the challenges of navigating the tangled web of relationships in the apartment.
