"Take it fucking easy bozo, you just got out of the hospital a week ago," I scold Nova as she speeds through traffic.
"We're late dumbass, what do you expect me to do?" She shrugs her shoulders, eyes fixated on the road.
"If you hadn't wanted to fuck this morning, we wouldn't be here," I roll my eyes.
"Shouldn't have slept over," She mumbles, assuming I didn't hear her.
"Don't fucking start Davis, I'm on your ass if we end up missing your own graduation," I slap her on the arm because of her comment.
"You don't think it would be fun to see me in your senior class next year?" She jokes as we come to a stop at a red light. She looks over after I don't answer, "No?"
"Does it look like I wanna see your ass in my class next year?" I give an unimpressed stare.
"Dude calm down. Look, we're here," She points as we pull into the school parking lot.
"Get your shit, let's go," I get out the car, slamming it in the process.
"Don't fucking slam my door, O'Connell," She shouts after me as I walk away from her.

Nova's POV
"Damn, I wish Devin was here to see this," I whisper to Finneas as we sit in the gym waiting for the ceremony to start.
"I'm sure he's more than happy that you made it to your graduation instead of being here," He chuckles as he pats me on the back, "You're one of the lucky ones kid."
"What's up with you calling me kid?" I look at him with an eyebrow raised, "We're literally graduating on the same day."
"I'm aware," He whispers as the ceremony begins, "I just like calling you that."
We watched one by one as all of our classmates walked the stage, all doing different things after getting their diploma.
Finneas ended up going up before I did. I probably cheered louder than his sister who was sitting three rows behind me screaming her ass off.
I sent her a text telling her to shut the fuck up to which she responded with 'you didn't have that energy this morning.' I looked behind me to flip her off and got another text saying 'suck my dick.'
"Nova Marie Davis," Finally my name was called and in no time I was on the stage, accepting my diploma. The crowd was louder than ever. They even took a moment of silence to acknowledge everything that happened to me this year.
When I got off the stage, the auditorium was louder than I've ever heard it before with people literally screaming my name, including my loud ass girlfriend.
I returned back to my seat as everyone stopped clapping and waited for the ceremony to finish.
"Dude I swear she was loud as hell when your name was called. I almost had to take her out," Claudia tells me at the dinner table as we celebrated Finneas and I's graduation.
"Literally none of y'all are invited to my graduation if you're not gonna be that loud," Billie shrugs her shoulders. I kiss her forehead and thank her for being so obnoxiously loud.
"I would rather move than hear your mouth Bil," Finneas states, earning a slap on the arm from Claudia.
"Be nice guys," Maggie playfully rolls her eyes at our antics.
"We are," Each one of us say in unison, giving each other a subtle look.
