The royal family of Scotland has had long history with it starting in the late 800s with Kenneth McAlpine as the first king of Scots all the way to bonnie prince Charlie. But with two failed Jacobite rebellions the hope for the return of the royal house seems to be gone.
But the people of magical Scotland hope and wait story's passed down for generations since last rebellion, While king James VI became king of England only a witch or wizard could rule magical Scotland and since James was a squib an agreement was made that should a magical heir be born they could be king of Scots. and so an agreement was made that a regency council would be formed to rule Scotland until such a time.
As the years drew on and no such child was born the most of the council forgot the oaths that there family's had sworn until only a handful remained. when in 1720 bonnie prince Charlie was born and displayed magical ability his father held out hope that one day there family would sit the Scottish throne. But that would not come to as we all know the story of 1745 army and the defeat at Culloden. when Charles fled to Rome he married princess Louise of Stolberg-Gedern and for the wider world the marriage produced no children were born but for those in the Scottish faction a princess was born.
That daughter a girl named Mary after the famed queen would marry Oliver potter and from that union would further the line in hopes that one day one would reclaim the the title of king of Scots. Before 2 world war and wizarding war there were 26 people to take the title but after those wars there was only one heir left a one year old child who would be dumped one the doorsteps of his magical hating relatives. But part of the marriage contract stated that no matter when a potter takes the throne of Scotland they must take the name Stuart
And that is were we join Hadrian James potter in the smallest bedroom of number 4 privet drive in the summer of 1995. the boy was studying his books for the forthcoming school year when all of a sudden his bedroom door opens to revel someone he would never had expected
