Edinburgh Castle, October 21st

It had been three months since the war began and both sides were taking hits, even with the men and women from their allies Scotland was losing ground. Scottish forces had just a couple of days ago been forced to retreat from ayr and now their was reports of the royal court leaving Edinburgh for Scone. "We will not abandon our capital" Harry said addressing the privy council, with enemy forces now marching towards Glasgow it would only be time before they cut of all escape routes from Edinburgh.

"But your majesty we have to think of your safety" Said General Murray, if Glasgow was lost they would lose their supply lines with the Americans, The Prussians had also opened a second front with the Germans and French. Spain was sending men to both nations but with the Prussian navy it was risk sending large forces to Scotland.

Edinburgh Castle, October 31st

Today was supposed to be fun day for the royal court, A Samhain ball had been planned but with the war happing that had been cancelled and the court had been sparse of the lords and ladies with most choosing to head to America to ride out the war in safety. Harry was in the small chapel standing above his parents grave, "You know they are proud of you" Remus said coming up behind harry, "Any other young person would run for safety, you know this city will be under siege sooner or later and yet you stay" Harry turned to man he proudly calls an uncle "I will not abandon my people in their time of need"

After talking with his uncle he made his way to the library where he called had for the broadcast service to set up their equipment, he readied him self to make his address. He had spent weeks reading about about leadership during conflict from Elizabeth I to Winston Churchill trying to be the best leader his people need. And when the light turned red began his speech.

"My loyal people, I know these last few months have been hard. Everyday seems to bring new loses and heartbreak. Voldemort seems determined to break our ancient and glorious nation to shards which we fought so hard for just a year ago, now those same people seeks to break us again but I say we will not be beaten

For I have myself the greatest confidence, that if all people of this country do their duty, if nothing is neglected, That we will be able to defended out mountain home. That we will be able to ride out this war and outlive this menace of tyranny, If necessary for years. At any rate, that is what we are going to try and do. That is will of myself and you my people. Scottish nations and our allies linked together in their cause and need, will defend to the death their native soil, aiding each other like good comrades to the utmost of their strength.

we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in Europe, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Nation, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our allies beyond the seas, armed and guarded by their vast fleets, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old." from their the broadcast ended and harry only hoped that taking a Churchill speech would rally his people and give them the boast they needed to fight on and defeat voldemort and his forces.

November 10th

The Scottish forces seemed to have a wake up call after the broadcast, Already Scottish forces were beginning to push voldemort and Prussian forces back. While had yet to break the siege on Glasgow they had managed to push enemy forces back to ayr in the and to six miles from the border on east.
