When George walked in PSHE the nest morning, he saw something that made painful memories flash in front of his eyes. Crying on his bathroom floor, his dad hitting him so hard that he fell and smashed his head on the stone tiles, putting his hands over his ears while his dad shouted and his mum screamed.

Head spinning, George crossed the room and sat down. The teacher started talking but he couldn't hear. His vision went blurry. Struggling to breath and feeling like he was about to throw up, George stood up and ran out of the classroom. He reached his dorm, staggered inside and locked himself in the bathroom.

He scrambled around in a drawer until he found what he was looking for. A small, jagged blade.

Pulling his sleeves up, George held the blade tight and dragged it hard into his upper arm. Blood seeped out of the deep cut but before he could continue, someone knocked on the door.

"Are you in there George? Mr Davies sent me to check on you." Dream said

George pulled his sleeves back down and unlocked the door to find Dream looking concerned on the other side.

"Are you alright?" Dream asked

George nodded.

"Do you want a hug?"

"Yeah." George whispered

Dream wrapped his arms around George and held him tight, resting his head on top of George's. George relaxed into Dream's warm, comforting touch and wrapped his own arms around Dream, not wanting the moment to ever end.

But eventually, Dream let go and George's heart sank.

"Sorry that was weird, I barely know you and-"

"I liked it." George interrupted

"Oh um...me too." Dream said, blushing

Silence

"I should probably go back to class...are you gonna come?" Dream asked

"I'll stay here, I don't wanna go back." George said

"Okay, if you're sure. See you at break!"

"Bye."

"Byeee!"

Hellooo! Sorry this chapter is so short, I'm sure the dnf bits make up for it. Hopefully, maybe, possibly new chapter soon. Depends if I want to or not. Bye <3
