"Hey, he's pretty hot, Callie?" Mia comments, turning her phone to me to reveal some dude with his shirt off.

"Ew, Mia, gross," I replied, shaking my head and looking away.

"Oh, come on, theirs got to be someone you think is hot. You're so picky," she mutters, going back to searching through Instagram boys.

"There is. You just haven't found them yet," I laugh, shrugging her antics off.

"Oh, dont worry, I'll find it. Im determined on it," she states, picking another post. She turns it to me, a dark-haired, goth type boy. "Eh?"

"Mmmm, no emos. Not my type," I responded, much to her disdain.

"How could you say that?!?! He's so hot?!?!" she retorts, a shocked expression on her face.

I shook my head and laughed. I batted her phone away playfully, and it toppled into the grass next to us.

"Oh, you're gonna get it now," she jokes, swatting at me with limp hand. I start doing it back, and we're both just hitting each other's hands and laughing.

She pauses and pretends to be out of breath. She looks back at me, and I can't help but stare into her eyes, her hands still on mine. Without thinking, I lean forward and connect our lips. It feels so right, but I almost immediately pull away.

"Omg, I'm so sorry. I don't know what came over me. I'm- " I start, looking away from her face, knowing the look of disgust that would be there if I did.

She cuts me off by abruptly grabbing my face and reconnectly our lips. Surprised, I melt into the kiss, stroking her cheek with the hand that wasn't holding me up. She pulls me onto her lap, tangling her hands in my curly hair.

She pulled at it slightly, making me gasp. The sound must have startled her because she pulled away, leaving the both of us panting.

"N-no, why'd you stop?" I asked, leaning on her.

"I-I thought you, it was- you gasped, i thought I-" she panted, looking concerned.

"No, it was good, please," I pleaded. She smiled at me and let me push our lips together. It's like we fit perfectly, like we're meant for each other.

It's a desperate kiss from both sides, just endlessly wanting to be closer to each other. I rested a hand on her thigh and a hand on her waist, holding her gently but firmly.

We break apart after another couple of minutes, and she asks, "Home?" I nod, and we stand and run to her house. That was only a couple of houses from the park.

We barge in the front door, and her mom comes out to greet us. "Ah, Callie, so good to see you dear," she coos and me and Mia try to get up the stairs.

"Yes, im glad to be back- ach!" I squeak, feeling Mia's hand squeeze my ass slightly. Her mom looks at me concerned. I smile weakly. "Allergies, am i right?" I fake sneeze.

"Ah yes, the pollen gets me too. Well, you girls have fun!" she finishes, and we scurry up the stairs and into Mia's room.

I close the door behind her, gently pinning her to it. "Excuse me, what was that?" I smirk at her, licking my lips.

"I was simply holding myself off," she says coyly, slipping her hands back onto my ass and picking me up. I squeak, and she carries me to her bed. She throws me down and climbs onto the bed, sitting next to me. "Now, where were we?"

I smirk and lunge at her, climbing back into her lap as we kiss desperately. I had needed this for so long that I felt that if I stopped, I might die. She pokes her tongue gently at my lip, looking into my eyes, asking for permission. I part my lips slightly, and she slips her tongue into my mouth, deepening the kiss.

I groan gently at the feeling of our tongues intertwined. I weave my hands into her hair, gently tugging at it, making her make a sound of her own. It drives me crazy, I've wanted to hear her make those noises for so long.

She pulls away to breathe, and we both pant loudly. "You don't know how long I've wanted you to do that..." she whispers, playing with my hair.

"Me? How would I know my supposed straight best friend wanted me to kiss her?" I ask playfully, giggling as I trace her jaw. "You know I've had a crush on you for years, Mia..."

"Really..." she questions, looking genuinely shocked.

"Uh, yea," I reply. "Since like middle school. But I always assumed you were straight." I lay my head on her chest, content to stay there with her forever.

"I did too... Untill like last year... when i realized I liked you more than a normal amount," she explained. She kissed the top of my head.

"I love you, Mia," I say, looking up at her.

She pauses, smiling down at me. "I think I love you too. I do. I love you, Callie."
