Improvements I want to the Sonic Frontiers formula

With the release of the final Sonic Frontiers update, there are somethings that I think need some more time in the oven.(Also yes,I do want to pitch my cursed future on the cover to SEGA.)

Part 1:My brief thoughts and revelations on Frontiers

I think Sonic Frontiers is a really freaking good game,the story,while lacking and a bit melodramatic is very well written and it's nice to see more depth be putted into these characters,the gameplay has an engaging flow and sense of speed with a lot to do despite being really unpolished and being too automated.(Also the pop in is really bad.),and don't get me started on the music,it's some of the best I've ever heard in the videogame.

Overall I think Frontiers is a good game that I recommend it to people who aren't Sonic fans,however after the third update,I think Sonic Team needs to fix many fundamental flaws that would kill the experience for most people,even though I had some fun with The Final Horizon,I have too many problems with it for me to recommend playing it.

This isn't me saying we should get rid of the Open Zone formula,PLEASE DO NOT GET RID OF IT,I just want to share some things that could improve future games since even though I and a lot of people enjoy Sonic Frontiers,a lot of people don't and I can see why.

The game compared to others in the same year looks embarrasingly janky and unpolished.Sonic Generations, a game from 2011 has more polish than Frontiers which came out 2 years after the top-of-the-line next gen consoles came out and the quality barely lives up to those standards.

One thing I hear people say is how Sonic deserves better and I'm thinking,does he really,I mean Sonic has been a laughing stock in gaming for so many years that it basically became status quo.Sonic was made in an era of gaming focused on creating mascots who are rad-tudes with bad-tudes and most of them died when we reached 2000,yes some outside of Sonic have stayed but even those who stayed have laid dormant in the late 2000s.

The fact that Rayman, a franchise whose main platformers are known as some of the best has had less relevance in the modern ages than Sonic is just crazy to me.If Sonic needs to succeed,SEGA has to give Sonic Team the time,money,and manpower that other studios have,it's just a matter if they're even gonna bother.
