"Niemcy, wait for me!"

Cześć! I'm Poland! I'm just your typical country, maybe not. I really don't care about it. As you can tell, my country has been invaded.. a lot. It's hard to not exist for years at a time, but I can handle it! It's all over now, anyway!

"Polen, it's going to take forever if I wait for you, you get that, don't you?" Germany stopped walking away and started to wait for me.
"Tak, I know what I'm doing, Niemcy.."

Easy for me, I just flew over to where Germany was. It's no big deal. Besides, I know what I'm doing!! Don't I?

"No you don't, Polen," Germany sighed as I gave him my puppy dog eyes.

...

"Okay, fine.. Maybe you do.." Germany laughed a bit as he pulled out his phone to call EU.

"Hallo?"
"Hey Germany.. we have a.. slight inconvenience and well-"
"You need me to go over there and find out what it is? Yeah yeah sure.."
"Good! Happy about that. By the way, come quick."
"Why?"
"I can't tell you. Now get over here, Deutschland!"
"Fine."

Germany hung up on EU. I really don't know what happened between them, but they have started to.. you know, nienawidzą się nawzajem.. (translation: hate each other). It's kind of weird, like it's really nie normalne. (translation: not normal). But, last time I was at one of those UN meetings, they talked about how these "crazy powers" were back. Luckily, no one even believed that.

insert flashback..

"Poland, wake up. South Korea, stop texting your allies. Oh my god.. France, stop changing the slides to "Mon Dieu!" UN shouted, trying to get everyone to focus.

"Listen here, countries of the world." Everyone, including me, stopped whatever the fuck they were doing. "They. Are. Back. I am not joking about this!!"

"No they're not! They've been dead for years now.." Ame said, trying to get out of the meeting room. Looks like that didn't end well, because we had to stay another two hours to get us to believe them. It was literally the worst meeting of my life.

returning to reality. please stand by..

I pulled out a journal from my bag, sitting down as I began to write in it.

It really does suck to be me.. I lost so many wars and I've been invaded so many times. It's just so hard to keep up with everything these days. Luckily, that was so many years ago! I probably forgot about some of it.. because I did. UN must be drinking wayyyy too much vodka, cuz I really don't know if on kiedykolwiek przestanie się nie zgadzać z niektórymi z nas, zwłaszcza w Europie. (translation: he's ever going to stop disagreeing with us, especially in europe.)

"Boo."

I stopped writing in my journal and found Hungary trying to scare me.

"O cholera (translation: oh shit) , you scared me!"
"Hey Lengyelország, what's up?"
"Hej Węgry!"

Hungary is one of my best friends. We literally do everything together! Sometimes it's really fun to hang out with him, but sometimes, usually around this time of year, he's kind of afraid of some things. It's really hard to explain.

"Węgry, what's going on?"
"Oh Lengyelország.. I wish you knew what's happening with me and my sister Ausztria right now.."
"What? Oh wait.. I didn't see her last meeting. Did something happen to her?"
"Igen, I really don't think you want to know." Hungary sighed. "It's getting late, want to go to my place, or maybe yours..?"
"Tak, let's go to yours."

I grabbed my journal off of the bench nearby as I tried to catch up go my best friend.

"Rendben, here we are." Hungary walked in as I followed behind.

"Polonia? What are you doing here?" Romania gave me a little bit of a death stare.
"Oh well, Węgry let me come!" I laughed a bit, but Greece walked in, and oh my god. Things get serious once she walks in..

"Ρουμανία, Ουγγαρία, what's so funny?"

"Oh Grecia.. Ungaria brought his best friend here!"
"Now, I really don't get why-" Greece looked up at me with a serious look on her face. "Γεια σου Πολωνία." (translation: hello poland.)
"Hi.."
"Ah, I see.. Shy one." Greece laughed a bit and so did I. "I don't suppose you realized that UN isn't actually lying about this."

I was really confused about this for a moment. "What, I thought no one believed them!"

"Oh honey, you did forget that I can read minds, did you?"
"Well, I guess I did."

A little bit later, Romania saw a fighter jet outside and went with Serbia to go see it. I looked outside and I saw it too. I never knew that a fighter jet was going to come for some reason, but Hungary grabbed me by my sweater and pulled me inside.

"Lengyelország, the no Germans. They're gonna come."
