Addi looks pleased when the professor cuts him off, and he notices your panicked expression. He chuckles at the sight, "Don't worry, Y/N, didn't I tell you that I'll let you copy mine? No need to fret, I got your back." he playfully ruffles your head.

You sighed, "Alright, I'll trust you for now, but if we fail, I swear I'll kick your ass." you grinned at him, and he chuckled at your threat.

Unfortunately, you both failed the quiz.

You both laugh at your silliness with tears in your eyes. You seem to show the side of you that you rarely showed to others, but since Addi is now your friend, you guess it's okay to show it to him.

You sighed, "I shouldn't have trusted you. It's my first day here, and now I messed it up." You facepalm.
He scoffed, "Oh, don't be like that~ It is your fault too. You put your trust in me. Hehe." you want to beat him to a pulp, but you stop yourself.

You accept the reality and move on. Now, your professor has dismissed the class, and you are packing your stuff to leave and go to your next class, which is Mathematics 102, which is indicated on the timetable you have right now.

Addi asked you what the next class you will have right now, to which you responded with a simple word, "Math." he hummed at your response, and he offered to walk with you to your next class, which you allowed him.

Now, this time, you are not alone in searching for your next classroom. And Addi made it seem easy for him to find the classroom for you. You thanked him, of course, and bid him goodbye. "I'll see you at lunch, Y/N. We'll eat together, right?" you nodded at him, "Alright," he smiled and patted your head, then he left.

You proceeded to go inside your classroom and occupied an empty seat beside the window. (again)

Feeling the intense stares of your classmates, you look at them, and since they got caught staring at you, they quickly averted their gaze.

You heard a lot of murmurs here and there, and it's all about you.

"She's beautiful!"

"Can't believe that she's our classmate."

"Should I approach her and ask for her number?"

"Nah, drop it. I think she already has a lover.

"With a beautiful face like hers, she probably already has lovers."

"Man, I want her."

"But guys, have you heard a rumor? A newcomer in this school helps the infamous Jazeth! Can you believe it! Everyone avoids Jazeth like a plague! Surely, this news will likely be heard by that gruesome gang!"

"Well, he or she is a newcomer, so I guess he or she doesn't know what's going on here."

"But almost everyone in this school and the outside knows that gang!"

"True, but maybe that newcomer lives under the rock."
