Lost Moon // Power Rangers In Space (on hold)

Goodbye

She didn't think saying goodbye would be so hard she knew she would be back but when she wasn't sure when. Last night she was so rudely awoken by some type of green energy calling her, she moved to touch it when it flew out of her window and into the night sky.

Ever since then I haven't been able to stop thinking about it and tonight I decided to pack my bags and follow the feeling. Tommy would never stop me he has always said I got the grid in me whatever that means. I think he means the morphin grid but he was never specific.

"Time to leave" I said dumping the last bag in the box on the small ship I was taking.

"Be safe" Tommy said pulling me into his chest and placing a kiss to the top of my head "don't do anything I wouldn't do and if-"

"I know" I said hugging him back "If I find anything about Zordon let you guys know"

Oh did I mention Zordon is missing like poof gone. Apparently he's been taken but nobody know where. He might still be on earth but maybe not it is always good to keep the options open. If I would kidnap someone I would take them in space earth people don't have the right technology yet. That is why we got this ship from Billy, custom fit to fly for years.

"Ok call me if you need anything" he said placing another chaste kiss on my forehead before finally releasing me from his grasp.

"I will I know the drill all of you have told me it like 70 time" all of them meaning all the rangers once I told them I was leaving.

"Ok" he said as I boarded the space craft.

"See you on the flip side" I yelled before closing the door.

I made my way to the captains chair before sitting down and doing my preflight checks. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Tommy being comforted by his girlfriend Kat or Katherine. I liked her we had said goodbye prior to getting to the flight zone so that she wouldn't intrude on me and my older brother's last moments before I left.

Hers goes nothing, I started my countdown and triple checked my seat belt. Ok 5,4,3,2,1 I pushed the accelerator forward and the next thing I knew I was off into space. Through the atmosphere and past mars to my first great adventure who knows what will be next.

As I cruise my way through space come across a blue circle spacecraft. Who would be out here this area has been abandoned for like 10 years. Before going to check it out it is as if some invisible force pulls my ship towards it. What is happening I try to thrust the ship backwards but it turns itself into autopilot mode.

"Oh crap" I mutter as I move out of my seat and into the back where a grab the photon blaster I got for my sixth birthday. Tommy only got it for me for target training with him and the others but hopefully it works against real people too. I go back to the cockpit and put the ship into park so that it stays on the top of the ship.

Ok the plan all good heroes have a plan right? Alright so I will sneak onto the enemy ship and find whatever is controlling the pull on my ship and run away before anyone notices I was ever there, and maybe not run into the enemy as well. 1 little 8 year old girl against whoever is on that ship is not good odds for me.

I make my way onto the ship when I see cameras "o no" I duck behind the nearest wall and look for somewhere that I can disable them on. Maybe there is a control panel around here somewhere. Aha I see a panel against the wall that looks as if it could be popped open and quickly run to it ducking under the camera on the way there. I stick my fingers under the panel and pop it open ok which one. I stare at the mess of wires and see a wire labeled cam. Maybe that is short for cameras i go and pull the wire out if its slot and see the camera behind me shut down.

"Finally" I mutter before running to find the bridge. I almost run past it as I run peeking into each room I pass looking for the control panels or enemies or both. I run past a room and see that it has a viewing board in it and immediately determine that it is the room that I am looking for and running into the room. I see a screen with a picture of my ship on it and decide to take a look at it.

I make my way over to the panel and looked for literally any button that could indicate remote controlling or tractor beams anything. I stare at the thousands of buttons and finally see one that say remote autopilot (on) I click it and make sure it says off under it before sprinting back to the top of the ship and climbing the ladder into the cargo bay where my ship go sucked into and ran into the cockpit.

"ok autopilot off systems at full power" I announced to no one in particular. I went to check my map to see what I had written down to find this green power source.

Ok this is weird it says I am right on top of where the power source that I mapped earlier was. Maybe I was tired this was written at 5 am after all but just a final check should be good. I turn around to check the area one more time when I see a guy who looks suspiciously like a power ranger.

I completely jump backwards screaming, I compose myself and say with as much authority as I can muster "What are you doing on my ship!"

"I could ask you the same thing" the mysterious ranger says staring at me dead in the eye. Well at least I think he is because I can't see behind his helmet.

"So you are telling me that you are chasing some green energy" the red ranger said

"Yup"

"And that you're brother is the red turbo ranger"

"Mmhm"

"Could the green energy you were searching for be this" he said pulling a small green case from under the control console of the ship. Opening it up it revealed a silver morphed with a green square in the corner.

I stretched my hands towards it and it started glowing the same green that it did when I saw it in my room or dream I was pretty tired. I pick it up and all of a sudden I feel very powerful I look down and I have morphed into the green ranger.

"Awesome sauce" I mutter "I have to tell my brother" I scream running back to my ship.

"Whoa hold it there buster" the red ranger said "you can only tell you're brother that you are safe and staying in space because you have found allies"

"Why, is it because we are a team now because I don't like not sharing things with my brother"

"It's not that, 2 months from now dark specter is holding a banquet with all the villains in the galaxy. I can guarantee that he will take Zordon there, they know about me but they don't know that I have a teammate now. If they intercept that message they need to believe that you are just a kid trying to get in touch with your brother. As soon as it is safe I will take you back to earth so you can tell your brother in person that you are a ranger until then we have to plan. I'm Andros" he says demorphing.

"I'm Rosalind but you can call me Rosie"

"Welcome to the team Rosie" he says shaking my hand
