Chapter 2:Battleship Selene

After Kiana wrecked the mech or as bronya said that she somehow pressed it's self destruct button,they eventually found the control room of the battleship Selene.

"Bronya,think you can hack into it's mainframe?"

Himeko asked on the comms.

"Da. The Bronya is already doing so in advance,Major Himeko."

Bronya replied bluntly as she had already begun hacking through the mainframe.

"The Bronya would like to ask a question for Subject Max."

Bronya questioned whilst still hacking.

"What is it?"

"The Bronya wonder's what had happened to subject Max this past year or two."

As much as Max wanted to change the topic after hearing Bronya's question she however continued on with question.

"As Subject Max just left us to Major Himeko whilst Subject Max disappeared from Nagazora."

As Max opened his mouth to answer he was interrupted by a certain Tuna.

"Yeah! You did just up and left us after Aunt Himeko had us on the Hyperion!"

"I am also curious as to why didn't Himeko come back for you as well."

"... haaaaah..."

Seeing as Mei had also joined in on the questioning,Max sighed exasperatedly and just decided to tell them partly of why he didn't join Himeko on the Hyperion.

"Truth be told I was sent to Nagazora because Mei's father Raiden Ryoma had requested that should anything happen to him,we'd protect his daughter by any means necessary."

As Mei,Kiana and Bronya was just hearing this for the first time they of course we're in shock and eyes widened,but Max continued on.

"After the Honkai eruption happened I had requested an Airdrop to deploy my Battlesuit as I got separated from Raiden Mei and Kiana Kaslana,Once I did get my Battlesuit however,a huge source of Honkai energy suddenly erupted out of nowhere,so of course I went to investigate,then I found Raiden Mei floating as she held Kiana Kaslana's body."

The trio flinched a bit after hearing the part where Max said that Mei was floating.

"So I merely deduced that Raiden Mei had become a Herrscher."

The trio flinched again.

"And um... what exactly did you do after seeing me like that...?"

Max went silent. Then continued

"... Kill you of course."

Max said with a cold and emotionless tone,after hearing said tone Kiana was immediately on guard and went Infront of Mei with her guns out. Mei of course was in shock after hearing his answer. while Bronya was still hacking the mainframe but glared Max instead.

"But then I was knocked out."

Then the trio were immediately confused as to why he continued.

"After I awoke my father had apparently found my unconscious body near the huge crater in Nagazora and decided that I needed more training because he thought I had failed at protecting Raiden Mei from harm's way."
