You decided to jump out of the car and run for it.
When you start to run you glance behind you and see him struggling to start the car. You try to run faster then hear him engine starting. You keep running but hear the sound of his car's engine getting louder and louder. You take one more glance and his car is right behind you and next thing you know he has run you down and you have died.
