The darkness enveloped me once again. I had escaped Nil's punishment, and she couldn't keep on with me.

But I knew someone was there.

I found Space's bundle of stars, gathering around her.

"Oh, someone's here." As usual, she was crying.

"You're alive!" I exclaimed.

"Huh?"

Of course, this Space doesn't know me yet.

I tried remaking the first memory.

I'm sorry, but were you crying?" I asked Space.

She sobbed.

"I.. I felt so lonely!" She sniffled, "I just can't seem to stop!"

"..." I was silent for a while.

"But now, someone's here! I didn't think anyone would come.. but now you're here, in front of me!"

"If you're happy, then stop crying. Honestly, Space..."

I'd let her name slip out of my lips again.

The girl stopped crying. "Huh?" Her eyes narrowed, "how did you know my name?"

"That's so unfair! You knew my name, and I don't even know yours, and now I have to ask for your name!" The girl started crying.

"It's Time." I told her.

The girl lightened up. "Time. Timetimetimetimetime Time. Time!" She smiled.

"What are you doing?"

"Saying your name 8 times. 8 on its side is infinity, that's how I'll remember forever and ever."

Except you won't remember before I told you.

"Hm, I see."

"Where did you come from, Time?"

"If we're to give it a name, I'd call the start." I said.

"Does that mean we're now the middle?"

"But this is where you started, right?"

"We can! This place has changed."

"Has it?"

"Yes, because you're here with me now, so before was the start, and now is the middle."

"If there's a start, will there be an end?"

"The start was lonely, will the end be lonely too?"

Then Space started crying again.
