in honor of halloween.
you lead megumi with you towards the grocery store, eyeing around at all the vegetables until you finally find what you're looking for.
"oh thank fuck they're still here." you crackle mischievously as you lead down to heave a heavy ass pumpkin in your arms that had no reason to be this big, megumi slaps a hand on his mouth with furrowed brows.
"how can you even lift that..." he muttered, grabbing a smaller pumpkin than the one you held with two arms.
"i can lift twice my weight megs." you hum, turning towards the register and heaving it onto the table before walking back to the pumpkins. "mmaybe we need a trolley?"
you wince as something metal hit the back of your ankles, you turn to glare at itadori who gave a cheeky grin. he went over to the pumpkins, easily lifting the large ones with one hand and placing them in the trolley. you glance over to the lady in the register who watched in confusion, walking over to her you cross your arms.
"we're taking all of them."
"all...20?"
"well we need more but this'll do for now." you shrug, she rolled the price through with a awkward glance to you.
"that'll be...$351. would this be card or cash." she rests her eyes on yours as you groan in thought before handing her 4 hundred dollar bills. she rung it up, pulling out your change that you gladly took.
"alright, come on herd them up." you call to your friends, itadori, yuta, inumaki (he was bored and tagged along), gojo, and geto pull forwards to grab their own pumpkin. you grab the one you placed on the register, glancing over to itadori who was stacking more pumpkins in his arms. megumi snickering as he started to struggle with 4 pumpkins in hand, waddling out the store towards the van parked out back.
