Mena's new Stretchy body! The slime attacks!

After a few hours of partying, Mena grew tired. If he was in his 17 year old body, he most likely would've been able to party much longer. He got up from his chair and start leaving, then Shanks grabbed his arm. Mena didn't move so he didn't reveal his new Nika abilities yet. "Hold on, Mena, where you going?" The red haired pirate asked. "Im tired, I'm going to bed." Mena replied, finally walking forward. "Why can't you j-" Shanks stopped dead in his tracks. Everyone else turned to look at Mena. "Hm?" As Mena had expected, his arms were stretching. He smirked. "HIS ARMS ARE STRETCHING?!" Shanks yelled. "DOES THIS MEAN HE-" "HE COULDN'T HAVE!!!" Mena laughed hard. Roux checked the box. "ITS NOT HERE!" Roux flashed a picture of the Hito Hito no Mi Model; Nika. "MENA! DID YOU EAT THIS!?" He screamed. "Yep!" Mena grinned wide. Shanks dropped down to his knees and grabbed Menas face. "THAT WAS THE GUM-GUM FRUIT! ONE OF A KIND! EATING IT TURNS YOU INTO RUBBER AND YOU'LL NEVER SWIM AGAIN!" He yelled right into Mena's face. Mena laughed hard, "That sounds pretty cool to me!"

New Inventory Slot Unlocked: Devil Fruit! Occupied by: Gomu Gomu no Mi (Unchangeable).

New Mechanic Unlocked: Mastery

Mastery is something that determines how much control you have during something, in this case your Devil Fruit! Since your Devil Fruit is the Gomu Gomu No Mi, More Mastery equals the more control you have over your stretchiness! To gain more Mastery, just train with it.

Passive Skills:

Blunt Force Resistance: Take less damage from Melee attacks!

Limited Elemental Intangibility Negation: Be able to hit a very special person in the future.

Electricity Immunity: Take no damage from a very special person in the future.

Shanks and his men had left for another voyage. Mena was sad they had left, but knew exactly what would happen, so he wouldn't bother. He was walking through the town before hearing a sort of sloshing noise. "Hm?" He turned to his left to see a slime in a field off the dirt road. He looked around, it was like no one else saw it, or maybe they were ignoring it? He didn't know, but he knew what to do about it. He ran toward it and punched it. It was a normal punch, because he didn't now how to control his stretchy power yet.

This Slime is part of a sub-species of Slime titled: 'Weakest Slime'. They try their best during fights, but usually end up losing.

It is very angry at you, would you like to battle it? You will become slightly stronger.

The slime looked enraged, the 'system' or whatever you wanted to call it, was right. Mena was slightly scared, but he remembered his stats. The slime's strength and durability were slightly higher than his, but Mena's Energy and Speed were higher. There was one problem, though... Mena didn't know how fighting worked in this 'game'...

Just battle like your fighting in your original world! It's easy, I promise!

Mena ran up to the slime again and kicked it in the air. It barely budged, but he expected that. -0.1! That '-0.1' thing must be how much damage he deals to the slime. Then, it sprouted a spike from it's side and tried to stab Mena, but since his speed was five times faster then the slimes, he easily dodged it.

10 minutes later...

Mena was extremely worn out, and so was the Slime. He tried to walk over to it, but he fell over. Was he seriously that tired?! The slime slowly crawled toward him, so he forced himself to move. He finally got up and punched the slime. -0.1! Finally, the slime was at 0.1 hp! He was so close to defeating him. Suddenly, he gained a tiny bit of energy back. Why do I feel so... energized? I don't have all my strength back, but it's more than enough to beat this slime! He reeled back his fist and punched the slime for the final time.

When your health and energy reach under 5%, you gain 25% back! Setting your health and energy from 5% to 30%! This move can be leveled up to give you a higher boost! (Level: 1/10)

Oh, that'll be so useful against all those antagonists like Crocodile or Arlong or Doflamingo or... Mmmmmmmm- I'm so excited for this!

Mena decided to look at his stats to see if got any stronger from his fight.

His Energy and Speed didn't level up as much as his Strength and Durabilty. That's probably because the Slime was only stronger and more durable than him, so his energy and speed didn't really need to evolve as much (beside the fact that he was worn out at the end, but his Determination really helped him). Then, he heard a ruckus from behind him.
