Mena gets beaten!! Shanks confronts Higuma!

Mena looked behind him and saw the Mountain Bandits walking like a bunch of lunatics. Were they drunk? Maybe they were just a bunch of idiots like they always were... He wondered- should he start a fight with them like in the original? If he did, he would most likely cause Shanks to lose his arm, and Higuma would die. That last part wasn't necessarily a bad thing... He should wait until he's strong enough to fight them and do it himself...? Maybe not kill them, but he would do something. Higuma screamed at Mena to get lost, but he was too lost in thought to notice. Wait... he wouldn't get his straw hat if he didn't start a fight with them! He made up his mind, he should fight them.

Mena almost yelled when he saw a bandit in his face, mean-mugging him. "Didn't you hear him, kid?! Get lost- Move it- Skedaddle!" Mena used his 'Observe' Skill on the Bandit.

Damn, even the average bandit was stronger then Mena. But that wouldn't make him back down. He punched the bandit in the face and spit on him, making him jump up and wipe at his nose. "Damn brat!" The bandit yelled, kicking Mena. Mena wasn't expecting it to hurt that badly, because of his blunt force passive, but it definitely hurt. He was flung backward and landed on his back. "Ow!" He pushed himself up and grunted. Mena knew he didn't really have any mastery over his fruit, but he had to try to stretch, right? His Mastery was 1, which gave him a 5% chance for it to actually work.

He stretched back his arm and threw it forward, but it just flew toward the ground and dragged with Mena.

GodDamn it!

He dragged his arm back and grunted with anger. "What the hell? What're you, some kind of monster?!" Another lackey yelled.

The bandits had beaten Mena, but unfortunately his Devil Fruit didn't work like in the original, so he was taking tons of damage. Makino and Woop Slap were yelling for them to stop, but nothing was happening.

Mena wasn't worried, though, he knew Shanks would show up any second now, right?

"Nobody came to greet us at the harbor, I wondered what was going on."

Makino and Woop Slap turned around and saw Shanks. "Mena! I thought your fist was as strong as a pistol!"

Mena tried to keep his cool. "I guess they're stronger than a pistol!"

Red Hair chuckled. A gun cocked near his head.

"Don't come any closer, or I'll blow your head off!"

"Hmph, and I thought Mena here was the cockiest person in Foosha Village. Also, you might not wanna point that thing at me."

"What the hell are you talking about?"

Lucky Roux appeared behind the man and shot him instead.

"What've you done?! That wasn't fair!" Another lackey yelled.

"Quit whining, land-lubbers! You're not dealing with saints here!" Benn Beckman yelled.

"We're pirates! Pirates don't play by the rules!" Shanks drew nearer to the mountain bandits.

"Listen up, you can pour drinks on me, you can throw food at me. You can even spit on me, I'll just laugh it off. But, good reason or not..." Shanks looked at the bandits with killer eyes.

"Nobody hurts a friend of mine!"
