Lucy's pov Grace was behind the slaughter of my family. "Hey" it's Tommy. His hand stroking my face gently "look at me Lucy" I do and he smiles softly "breathe. You're gonna be alright" I say "she-" he nods "I know love. I know. They'll get what's comin to them. I swear it to ya. But gettin hyped like this ain't good for the baby" I nod and kiss him softly. "I shouldn't have fought-" I start.
He cuts me off "I get why you did. It's okay. You're unharmed that's what matters let me clean your hands though" kissing her knuckles softly. We do just that and I say "let's get these filed" grabbing the papers. she nods and I get dressed and she does the same

We head to the court and put in the documents and with that...I'm no longer married. Thank god. I say "we should celebrate." She grins "garrison?" I nod and ask "when should we announce us? Polly already knows" she kisses me and smiles "whenever you want...but we still have Tristan...." Nervously. I make her look at me "I won't let him or anyone hurt you both. Ever. If I'm not by your side, one of my brothers will be inside with you and Charlie, with guards outside. We're dealing with it" she nods and says "I want you to be safe Tommy" I reply "It's not a guarantee but I will try my fuckin hardest to return to ya"
She says "you don't know how they are...what they're capable of" I say "I know they're capable of killing and raping a family and leaving you to suffer. I know that much" she says "anyone who's ever tried to help me has died Tommy. I don't want anyone else to die for me" I reply "you can't live your life how you've been livin it love. It ain't livin. You'll be protected. We're gonna need names and an ID on everyone who was at your house that night so we know exactly what to look for. And any information you have on em. It's not just us anymore Lucy. We gotta think about our kid too. About Charlie"
She nods "I can do that" I kiss her head "everythin will go according to plan. Knowin grace and they'll be here soon and we'll be waitin for em" she nods and we head out to the garrison. I announce "a party is to be in order!" John asks "what for!" I smirk "I'm divorced" they holler "finally!" I look to her and she nods smiling "I'm in love again lads!" I say. Pulling her to my side kissing her head. John chuckles "it's about damn time you admitted you were fuckin" so they knew.
I chuckle "the cheers aren't done yet lads because there's more to blood celebrate! There's another Shelby on the way" we drink to it. And I watch as she's welcomed into the family more than ever with open arms. Ada says "I'm happy you've left grace and found real love again. And I'm happy it's lucy" I nod "thank you Ada" "if anyone deserves to be happy. Really happy. It's you Tommy. You do enough for this family. For the business...thought your happiness was with grace but over time it's changed. I'm happy you found yourself in her" she says sipping her drink as I watch her let loose and have fun with Arthur and John as always.
I reply "I didn't find myself in her. I found a reason to want to heal and a brighter future doing so for and because of her." "What's coming for her Tommy." She asks. I sigh "her past unfortunately." Watching her and John and Arthur dance stupidly. A smile bright on her face. She nods "glad Charlie loves her" "he took to her right away. All it took was for her to show an interest." I say smoking. An interest is something Grace never showed him. I only hope she rids of the baby she's carrying to not put it through what she put Charlie through.
Polly joins us "well that was fast" I chuckle "couldn't wait anymore" "why because she's pregnant?" She asks. I say "no. Because I love her." "How'd the bitch take it" she asks. I chuckle "she walked in on us so...not well" she asks me "what is it Tommy? Something else happened?" "Grace was the reason they came for her and her family. I feel horrible and don't know how I can help the fact that the person she trusted so much. The person who was going to marry her brother...did this. Caused that. Not only that but they drained her bank account and were robbing her. We got her money thankfully...but how can I even help?" I sigh.
Polly says "by being supportive and being there. Might wanna stop her spinning. In her state she'll get sick" I turn and see her spinning happily in circles. I chuckle and approach my woman "Tommy!" She greets hugging me. Having drank quite a bit. I smile "hello love. Keep spinning like this and you'll get sick" she smiles "I have you to take care of me" kissing my cheek and I grin "that you do. But I'd rather you not be sick at all love" she says "dance with me! We haven't since the night we met!"
I take her hand "I'll dance with you as much as you desire Lucy. Even when my feet grow tired and I can't remember the steps I'll still dance" kissing her hand and that's what we do. We dance
